There is a sitcom How I met your mother, in that Marshall is a character who wanted to save environment but ended up working a corporate job just for money! His character literally was exhausted and drained!

Not only Big 4 all people in Audit and Accounts department of Corporate, have worst work culture, all work late night, if you get to leave by 6 you are the most fortunate person as 10 pm is normal on daily basis, if you have any deadline you may have to work all night as well.

Sir mere toh CA FINAL ka sirf Group 2 rehta hai lekin CA ho jaane ke baad mera koi plan nahi hai to join BIG 4 rather koi around 40 to 40 k ki hi job mil jaaye that is sufficient for me.....kyunki sir main stories bhi likhta hoon pocket novel pe aur astrology bhi seekh raha hoon toh main aisi job karna chahta hoon jahaan main apne passion ko bhi time de paaun......BIG 4 is a totally waste of time 😅

I'm doing articleship in normal firm and there is no staff or article except me.. I did all the work from the photocopy to file tax audit but there's is no appreciation from their side although both ca boomed me and taunt me.. Same line bole the ca ne mere hum log bhi article the ek baar ca bol diya wohi kaam bss jitta der lg😢 Icai should see off this matter with immediate concern as the minimum no of staff or article and bss audit kehne ko hai icai should do implement thr control but can't check it

Sir I think the major blame lies on India's almost non existent Labour laws. These companies couldn't have done this in any western countries. Why are they able to exploit employees like this making them work 18 hours and paying them less only in India? Cuz our country has no seriousness regarding any standards whether it's safety standards or labour standards. No importance is given on mental health and quality of living. I have recently completed my articleship from EY stat audit and due for Nov 24 attempt. Whatever return in that letter was absolutely true. I had nightmare over there. In burning fever, I was asked to submit medical proof because AM was unable to trust me that I had fever. So I used to live in hostel alone and in 103°, I have to go hospital to get doctor proof. We all CAs have glorified this toxic work culture. CAs aur particularly articles apni stories aise batate hain round the clock abusive atmosphere me kaam karne ki as if it's an achievement. CA fraternity needs to look within.

if you are girl and say no to overwork and all, they say we should have hired male and he would able to handle the pressure and especially called work shy tag etc. Most of company at time of interview mention that you have to work for 14-16 during quarter end and all in interview only and some people have habit of dragging for 10-12 hrs even if work is of less hours just to show they work for this much hours and company mostly don't see how much efficient you are they also give credit to those like who spend 14- 15 hrs rather than someone he is completing work on time and want to live everyday rather than waiting for weekends.

Sir manager ko toh manager of the year ka award and appreciation chaiye. Sab matlabi hai sir Unko ghanta farak nhi padta relationship se. Saap hai sab. 19 se 22 ki umar in saap me bitai hai. Ca final pe bhi bhut farak pad gya , 2-3 attempt soch soch kar nikal diye itne kam leaves di inhone ,itna depression me daal diya tha mujhe. Bhai choti achi hai toh use join kar lena but bdi firm's ke chakkar me mar padna

I'm giving you all the solution. Leave the CA course. The institute is the worst, doesn't respect students time and they don't eveb give their marking pattern abd even if you complete CA then your average salary is equivalent to an MBA with more workload. So you are just wasting your youth for no returns.
