Hello Ma'am, You said that 5 years of BSPT is not equivalent to a DPT, but is it at least considered a master's? Because upon accreditation by FCCPT, they use CWT5, and the requirements fall under a master's or doctorate label, and my papers were acknowledged.

Some BSPT can pass certain coursework tool, the problem most of the time is if someone needs healthcare worker certificate that requires Course Work Tool #6 that is when a lot of deficiencies will come out depending on what school you graduated.

If you finished 5or 6 year BPT, you have to do NY Credential Review and usually with those years you can take NPTE without taking deficient subjects BUT before an employer can file you with a working or immigrant visa you will need healthcare worker certificate that is where deficient subjects will come out. Hello Dr. Jane, I'm a PT here in the Philippines. Are the universities offering in campus tDPT? Can we fly over to the U.S in a student visa format and study DPT there?

Usually it is hybrid both in person and some online. I guess you can try to apply as student. But I have no idea of the process since I didn't do it.
