Good video. The only thing I really do differently, is set everything on A. Then I use custom ISO settings and just change everything by the F stops on the lens. It makes it easy for street photography.

You said at 6:30 that your old JPEG images had degraded over time. I wouldn’t think that’s possible. Can you explain what you mean?

if you transfer your JPEGs too many times it will degrade but RAW files do not.

Really think ISO should be used as much as speed these days. I've got ISO set on the back dial, speed is set on the front dial. This lets you better control shutter speed by altering the ISO.

That’s so true! I’ve been way more comfortable using iso to get a shutter speed I’m happy with for years! I do also like that the leaf shutter on the x100 series means I can typically shoot at slower shutter speeds too.

Hi Brandon, Thx for sharing your thoughts. Have you ever heard about dual native iso? I don't know about the x100v but for the xt3 there are 2 native iso, 160 to 640 then 800 and above...pictures taken at 800 are supposed to be cleaner. Sharing is caring 😉

I haven't heard anything about Fuji's specifically having a dual native iso. I know they utilize sony sensors with a different bayer pattern, I'll have to look into their use of iso a little more

Be warned! My Fuji X100V Leaf Shutter has just crunched!! Bought it new just over two years ago... Not worth getting repaired. I now plan to buy Leica, like I should have done the first time.
