I’ve watched all of your tile ploughing videos Mike, but for some reason, when you had the camera down in the trench you could get a great sense of how much power that dozer has got, and how much stress that single ripper is under. Well done Aaron, that is definitely testing your welding. Never in doubt 👍. 🇬🇧

Now I can see a couple videos back when you got the possum stuck in the Drain line. So I thought when you were putting the 4 inch to 5 inch elbow today's video with long screws to hold it together I thought you were building another possum trap LOL You ought to get a patent on that quite effective😊

@shannonbillings7493Ай бұрын
DP got a suggestion is there anyway you could somehow attach a solid metal roller to the back of your tile plow so that it would compact the ridge down that your plow leaves. That would really be awesome. Great job enjoy watching your channel and especially like watching y’all engineer and build your own attachments.👍

all equipment replacement glass should be polycarbonate with a layer of film, like 3m stone guard, on it. the polycarb is lighter, stronger, more flexible and insulates better. and you can cut it to size onsite. its been used by everything from cnc mills to fighter aircraft for half a century.
@billclisham8668Ай бұрын
I think you guys need to fabricobble a piece for the back of the tile plow that would bury the trench as you go, making it a one and done pass across the field. Not having to come back through to knock the sides back down would save you a good bit of time and fuel.

Nice video, I can imagine that plow is popular in your area, instead of digging at 30 feet per hour, you are laying pipe at almost 1000 feet per hour. This opens up a lot of opportunities for the farmers. Thumbs up!

You can definitely see there’s a fairly high clay content in that dirt when the tile plow cuts through and the opening stays wide open with clean sides. I never knew the 955 came with auto pilot but when you see MBTS run back to get something out of the UTV and then back to the 955 it clearly was way ahead for technology when it was built.

In southwest Nebraska we build terraces to catch runoff and use pivots to water the ground, and you guys have to drain excess water. It sounds like we have a distribution problem. I really enjoy the tile plowing videos especially, since no one has to do that around here. Our local dirtwork is catch ponds, terraces, oilfield site leveling, and road construction.

Looks great guys. I know that you have a weight at the front…..but have you thought about having another trencher at the front that will go down 1/2 the distance at the back to allow for less drag on the back plow? You could put some weight on it too. Also it might give you a 50/50 warning of hard dirt or rock coming towards the back plow.
