Unwin Peake's Buff & Downfall | House Of The Dragon History & Lore (King Aegon iii) Game Of Thrones

One man was not so happy to see the return of Prince Viserys from the dead. Unwin Peake the hand of the king. Now King Aegon had a clear heir, all of Lord Peakes plans came to nothing. But that would only be half of his downfall as now Unwin had to meet the terms agreed to in Lys by Alyn Velaryon, terms that would ruin the realm and terms agreed to without the concent of the King, the Hand or the council of regents. Alyn had overstepped his authority. But Unwins next bluff would be his last, and lead to his downfall.
The Dance Of The Dragons will be the focus of the plot of the new HBO spin-off House Of The Dragon coming in 2022. So if you want to learn the story before we see HBO's take on it then this will be a very long-running series. Game Of Thrones / House of the dragon are HBO shows based on George R R Martin's A Song Of Ice And Fire series. The information in this video comes from the books a world of ice and fire as well as fire and blood.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase. The House of the dragon was crumbling and the events that was about to follow would only cause more damage to both sides of the war.

Aegon the Third is king precisely because the Green Council betrayed Aegon the Second. However, it is Tyland Lannister, the most loyal member of this council who becomes the first Hand of the young king, and this does not prevent him from serving him faithfully. Either way, I don't think Cregan Stark would have had a choice. It is likely that Aegon's former allies accepted the peace offered by Corlys Velaryon in exchange for important positions at Court. It is also certain that the kingdom needs the Greens. It's winter and the Riverlands are ashes. In terms of resources, the Hightowers emerge from the war as the richest on the continent. The Crown is too poor to do without them.

Now I can see Viserys I and Daemon on Aegon III and Viserys II. And here, Daemon's dream to be the hand of his brother fulfilled. As eventually, Viserys I will be Aegon III's hand. Daemon will be so proud of his boys with this.

Most likely on Aemon and Baelon (sons of Jaehaerys I). I don't believe that Aegon III and Viserys II are similar to Viserys I and Daemon. Viserys and Daemon have a very tense relationship. Daemon acts with his own mind, but Viserys act with Otto's and the Greens minds. If Daemon had become king or co-ruler with Rhaenyra after Viserys's death, then there would be no this Dragon Dance. But this King Idiot drove him fuck out of here every time and destroyed everything! Aegon and Viserys they have a fight because, king forcing his brother to send his treasured dragon egg away to Dragonstone and they haven't spoken to each other for a month. But the poisoning of little Daenaera and the death of poor boy Gaemon Palehair made to remind the brothers that they need each other. And no intrigue or quarrel can break their brotherly bond.

This was pretty much the beginning of Hpuse Peake’s long downfall. They jumped onto the Blackfyre ship and refused to come off even after loss after loss. I’m surprised the house wasn’t put to death after the rebellion that led to Maekar’s death.

I wonder what happened in the end to Unwin. Did he return to his lands, spending the rest of his days confined in his castle and lamenting all his missed opportunities? I don’t know, I mean in real Life this happened to many nobles who left Court in disgrace, but it would seem strange that Unwin wouldn’t do nothing, I’m curios about it

Great to see Aegon 3 change when his brother was back. I like the description of his mind state feeling unworthy of crown because of what happen with the dance and leaving his brother. But also point out there was little to be done. Interesting how Aegon worship his half brothers Luke jace and Joffrey I mean I know he was a kid still but it bring great delight knowing there was love there. The Got universe has an interesting take on half brother/ bastard not most of the children know there always love there no matter the status because at the end of the day your still family, sort of like Jon was with his Stark sibling always an outcast but still love by his cousins. As for Unwin peake this dude a prick period I know Alyn should told the council but this dude just want to feel important. If he told Aegon 3 straight up maybe things would of been different I guess.

Honestly the most shocking thing about House Peake is they still exist in Westeros by the time of GOT. Like, they did shit like this as well as multiple rebellions, yet for some reason weren't wipped out when multiple other houses who did less were. They aren't even thay powerful of a house either, so its not like they had a ton of influence to use to get out of trouble

I i'm hopeful we see fire and blood part 2, simply because of the whole reason fire and blood part 1 exists was for spin offs. But i'm grateful we at the very least have The World Of Ice and Fire to fill in the last 150 gap somewhat even if the info is much more vague

Yes I thought that too. Viserys ii was born in 122 AC, seven years before the Dance of the Dragons. And he had his first child (Aegon the IV, also called Aegon the Unworthy) in 135 AC. He was 13 years old, when he has his first child. And his wife Larra Rogare was seven years older then him. She was 20 when she gave birth to Aegon the IV in 135 AC.

It seems that while Visery’s themselves don’t reach the terrible status they do pave the way for terrible events to follow. If some even Visery’s the third followed suite, he was a entitled terrible brother who’s successor effectively flips slaves bay on it head and throws the whole region in chaos.

Maybe it's a "downfall" considering he tried to be the new Otto. He tried to marry his daughter to Aegon and therefore insure his bloodline on the thrown. So going from those dreams to nothing is a downfall.
