Join acclaimed British author Patrick Gale as he discusses his latest novel, Mother’s Boy, which explores a fictionalised biography of the celebrated Cornish poet, Charles Causley.
Patrick’s first two novels, The Aerodynamics of Pork and Ease, were published on the same day in 1985, then in 2017, he made his screenwriting debut with Man in an Orange Shirt, a two-part original drama that formed part of the BBC’s Gay Britannia season and went on to win the 2018 International Emmy for Best Miniseries. He has published 17 novels to date, including Take Nothing With You in 2018, which was his fourth Sunday Times Bestseller.
Mother’s Boy was released in hardback on 1 March 2022.
