Very Informative, I have moderate tricompartmental osteoarthritis, mostly in the medial side of my knee, I dont want to do a TKR, but am open to a partial knee replacement on the medial side, I have good spacing on the lateral side and I'm 60 yrs old.

Thanks Dr Nuland, my question is since the partial medial or lateral leaves both the ACL and PCL intact and the TKR at least removes the ACL, why can't just the partial implant procedure be performed on both knee aspects in place of the TKR? which would then save both the ACL & PCL?
