UOMA is at the drugstore

UOMA Beauty has a drugstore brand called UOMA by Sharon C, and I bought a full face (WELL under $100!) to test for y'all. UOMA by Sharon C is available at Walmart, CVS and online through UOMA's website. The sub-brand describes itself like this:

I'm usually against higher end brands when they decide make brands for the drugstore because the quality isn't as good. But Sharon C is rather good especially for the price

I used to work for COS! They have such good clothes. And SUPER sustainable packaging for product shipments that they send to the stores -- almost no plastic!

The irl foundation is my fav drugstore foundation! It mixes so well with other foundations, primers, etc.

I bought this foundation, and I mix it into my glowy sunscreen for a tinted moisturizer for every day. I like it most of the time.

Uoma palettes are great, their multichromes are nice too, especially for a brand that does not specialize in multichrome shadows.

I do have to say I have both softie and casually lit in the lip oils and they don't turn pink on me. Softie stays a mauvy color on me, and casually lit stays a burnt peach color. So I have no idea why they preformed that way for you, but I still enjoyed seeing your review 💕

I’ve liked all the products I’ve tried from this line, I just wish they had a lighter olive toned foundation. Brands need to realize that not everyone who is olive toned has medium-deep skin🙄

Ooo so pleased to watch this! My review of the foundation and It's Complicated lip stain is going up sometime this weekend, I'm the same shade as you in the foundation but I have oily skin! I totally get you on the having-its-own-powdered-drydown .... I tried to use the ELF Putty blush on top the other day and it gummed up. Worth mentioning: picked mine up in-store at Walmart and they did list the foundation undertones on the display! The lip stain was ..... complicated. I got the red shade.... idk man, idk I REALLY want to try those eyeshadows now!!! C'mon foil!!

I have the its complicated lip in miss chief (a brown) and it doesnt turn color- i didnt even know it was supposed to. But i am glad because i dont like those ph products either. Thank you for the video! 👍🧡👍🧡

I think you look good in pink! Not particularly with that eye, but still 😁I'd love to see you do a look with colors you don't usually use, maybe a challenge to do a monochromatic pink/rose look.

The it's complicated tint oils are some of my fav products. I have 2 red ones and they don't do that to me. I have softie and it does change. Not quite as much as on you but they do. One note on that - I think most of those glossy stain formulas change. Like the OG ysl ones. they all turned orange on me so I bought the bright blue pink and it ended up neutral. There must be something about the ingredients or just the nature of stains themselves? I loved this video btw. I saw their blush in this cranberry dark red color that was calling my name. Good to know the formula is good!

Awe I'm so sad you don't love the lip tints. I have 3 shades and non of them change on me at all. I honestly don't see a difference on you either (maybe like a teeny but definitely not hot pink) but I get that you have Lazer focus on stuff turning pink on you lol But I got all jazzed to see you use them because it's rare that I have the same things as you bc... I heard good thinks from the content creators that did tried the suqqu liquid foundation but they are few and nobody talks about it. would be interesting to see how it compares to your new favorite the chanel sublimage. you are very good with describing differences between product and highlighting the specialties of this or that

I’ve seen the UOMA Freedom Palette compared to Pat McGrath motherships by Pat fanatics: I Am Jamila, Beauty and the frizz, Martina Lily… also Badtothebrow who is an expert on indie magical formulas and has tried Pat (not a Pat stan as far as I can tell). I have the palette and I adore it, Kackie I think you’d love it too

It’s extremely similar. It has that in- between crème and powder formula and a perfect neutral tone. I can’t find a really good way to describe it besides a balm that dries to a powder. The Mario formula is the best comparison. That, or the CP super shock bronzer. The light color is a perfect neutral to cool tone.
