Came onto the Southside to get ahead of a stopped BNSF train in the South Sac Siding while it had came through Midtown while I was filming the Rocklin Rocket Local and was done chasing the Rocket in time to get ahead of the BNSF and catch this UP ZLCBR and in addition another BNSF train.
Union Pacific Railroad ZLCBR intermodal stack train northbound passes through the 47th Ave Railroad Crossing on the UP Sacramento Subdivision main line in Sacramento, California. This crossing is an mixed and jointly owned install by Union Pacific Railroad & Sacramento Regional Transit with the gateless signal near me being an UPRR early 2010s signal build gateless UPRR install with everything original. The median gated signal on this side is an UPRR late 2010s signal build install with reused lights from the previous signal and changes to its gate. The shoulder signal on this side is an UPRR early 2010s signal build install with changes to its gate barrier only. The gateless signal and shoulder signal across the tracks are an SACRT early 2000s signal build install with changes to a light on the gateless signal recently, and gate barrier. The median signal on the other side is made out of SACRT late 1980s and 1990s signal build installs being used as a knock down replacement.
