Great review and demo again Martyn, looks a great bivvy. From a personal point of view I would prefer either Olive or Camo pattern, not a combination of both, but this does not take away the fact that it is a well designed bivvy.

That's a top demo Martin 👌and I definitely like the extra rod straps on the side. As no bivvys I seen go over 2 straps so yes that extra addition is quality. Top vid dude 👍

Great review, it is a shame that the solid door has not got the mossy mesh fixed to the back of it. Then you could roll the fixed door up if you need the mossy mesh. For the money though, it looks a cracking bit of kit. And I do like the flat back on the bivvy. Cheers Gary

I know its hard to please everyone, although the doors take seconds to zip in. Its a spacious wicked Bivvy. The flat back makes it great for backing up in the tightest of swims without losing space. Cheers for watching buddy! :)

Good to finally see a review out for these bivvies! Shame it was so windy lol Don't know why wychwood didn't do one for the tactical on release? Probably would have sold alot more! They only have to look at there competitor's marketing teams and see how much they are doing. One question.. how many pegging point options are there on the front of the bivvy? I could only see 1

The Compact Bivvy Has 6 pegging points on each side from the corner where the poles are right round to the door. 👍🏻

Missed a trick with the bivvy extension if you added more material at the back to cover the whole bivvy you would of also had a winterskin which it needs would of been perfect then

I have seen the tactical with two Bedchairs in. What you lose in space from the bedchairs you gain with the extension. It’s like an extra third floor Room. Easily fits chairs inside the extension.

Hi the tactical only has a mozzi door, clear door or full front door. The full Mozzi mesh of the compact will not fit the tactical due to difference in height.👍🏻

The bag doesn’t look that oversized to me, u can never repack a bivvy the way they do in factory, and bag looks very tight particularly in the middle section

The certainly are. Thats exactly why it looks fat because after my last session I didn't bother with packing it back up super tight and still managed to get it in the bag with all the other bits. Of course you cant get a bivvy back the same way but having a bag that fits certainly helps!

Hi Troy. This was asked across my own social media and also on Wychwood’s Facebook page. Any info I have supplied is in relation to genuine questions people have asked. The pack down weight is a valid question as people want to know just how much they are leggings around! People have seen the products through various social media posts and you may not have asked or have any questions but a number of people have wanted to see every aspect of it on a video.
