Suzuki Samurai and a third-gen 4runner. Two all-time favorites of mine. Sweet samurai brother.

Love your samurai man. It's funny it looks like a miniature mercedes g-wagen. Love the black and silver color combo. Super clean. I'm actually trying to hunt down a stockish hartop sami to make a mini overland rig similar to yours, minus the trailer.

Glad to smooth it over for you ;) Yeah the trailer tires held me up, I pulled in to slow to turn around, but got to use the winch for the first time so all was well. The trail picked up on Huron crossing up stream, and the approach was down stream. Was allot of fun either way.

Really nice, great rig, I take a lot of inspiration from your build for my Japanese built tin top, love the Range Rover and forward control jeep. Hope you get a chance to make more content. Best wishes from London

Love your rig man, my dream machine. Nice touch with R2-D2. Looks like you could use some bigger tires/clearance for this trip, though.

How much does that trailer weigh? I just bout an 86 tintop and I have. 1/4 ton M416 trailer with an RTT. So maybe 800lbs fully loaded.

Hey man, thanks for knocking that berm down for me, like you said. No way I could have idled over like that if you hadn't gone first! I didn't know anybody got stuck on the stamp sand. Was it just the little trailer tires cutting in or were you overheating? Lower tire pressure probably would have solved all. It looks like everybody is changing course as soon as they drop into the Huron river. Is there a hidden obstacle there? Nice videos and thanks for posting. You did spell "overland" wrong on the opening.

how do you find these trails and open areas like this? my gf and i are new jeepers and we would love to explore and camp in these kind of areas but everything seems to need permits or offroad groups...we just want to go! how do you find/plan these trails?

upoverland.org will give you the info on this trip. But you can trail ride and camp for free in pretty much any national forest as long as you abide by the trail signs and don't drive on private property without permission. I do allot of trail runs with a local club here in the Grand Rapids Michigan area, the club is Two Trackers.
