FYI deathsythe sideskirts actually have a moving part in between the the attachment point and the claws. MECHA you must've missed it. Thats how it rotates up. Side skirt stays in place and the claw turns up

The tallgesse II is a great kit. He just doesn’t have it. The only reason why these kits sometimes don’t hold up after 10+ years is because of the polycap joints. I have a mg heavyarms from 2011 and it’s still great. The only kits I have that have turned into floppy messes are the HG Iron Blooded Orphans kits. They’re so bad that I had to put all them in storage.

My guess is since the tallgeese 2 was available on p-bandai around the same time as the expansion set, and he's never done a review on it, he might be setting up a joke for a review in the near future.

The MG Tallgeese II originally came out in 2013 or so. But like the other EW wing kits, it's been reissued on US P-bandai a few times now and will certainly be reissued again. Keep an eye out

funny thing is...in the manga version, Treize would've used the Tallgeese III instead of the Tallgeese II during the final battle if it got finished first. (the reason why it got the mostly white and blue paint scheme) edit: would've been nice if Mecha also tested the Heat Saber on the Tallgeese III.

The DHell buster sheilds have a peg inside them. You don't need to move the actual side skirt.

I can confirm that the MG Deathcythe Hell EW does go floppy after a while! My buddy's model started doing that a while back and it was just standing up in his shelf! Really strange stuff.

That Sword is used by Tallgeese II and it's named Heat Sword. A super heated sword that can be used to slice enemy MS easily.

When I came to Australia, I was lucky to find a great local shot that has choice picks of Pbandai. Whenever Pbandai release anything, they order a shipment and 'flood' the Australian gunpla market with reasonably priced kits and flat national shipping. It's a great relief from scalpers and paying for international shipping.

I like that these designs kinda merge the movie and tv versions of Altron and deathscythe hell. Or maybe more accurately; gives the ew versions an element of the original tv versions back. Kinda lame that it doesn’t include beam effects for the buster shields.

Altron’s new backpack is meant to replicate the TV Versions backpack. The EW design also has this backpack in the Glory of the Losers manga, which is a retelling of the Anime that is more in line with the EW movie/series.

In his defense, Tallgeese 2 is just like a color variant of sorts of the Tallgeese. The only difference is that the Tallgeese 2 got a Gundam face. 😅 If you don't dig Tallgeese, then picking up Tallgeese 2 might not be worth it. Although Tallgeese 3 is a different discussion since it is literally a step up from it's predecessor/s 😁

This thing is basically a Wing TV reference (Altron gets his old Scorpion like tail, the scythe referenced the TV scythe via the emitter can flip up, while the Tallgeese II doest have a reference its new)

EW Deathscythe (all of them) is a floppy kit, sadly. The legs become loose quickly. You should try poking your Rousette, see how it’s held up.

It's a pretty solid series if you don't mind your protagonists to be rather OP (even by Gundam standards), and it was THE first eastern Gundam release. Still having traditional animation helps it stand the test of time.
