Nice. Of course, there's a lot more to it than can be presented in a short video. Advancing also includes table analysis, ball selection and cue ball control. And more cue ball control. There's no upper limit to advancing. You can never be too good. Then again, that's what keeps us coming back.

Good thing they included that adding English in kicking will be different than when you hit the Cueball with center or top

As a 5 we know all this stuff, 4s know the banks maybe not the safeties. Nice bank drill, most leauge players dont know where to start structured practices, how much to practice, when to move on from a drill, ETC. I started watching a lot of professionals, helps with pattern play.

I’m a 4 and know everything he’s said so far in each video so I agree, watching the professional matches and practicing what I see got me very far

I think ball position is more important. Banks are good, but what do you do after the bank?
@madmarvdesigns2 жыл бұрын
Well not really the main variable in APA levels is the innings...if you want to go up another level try winning in fewer innings....lots of 3s know this kick/bank stuff too

This only works under perfect table conditios, so therefore it is kind of misleading.

What does table playing long/short mean?
@ace-x6m2 жыл бұрын
Either it plays long of the natural bank/kick angles, or short of the natural bank/kick angles. Meaning if you kick/bank at natural speed and it goes outside of natural angle (long), or it goes inside of the natural kick/bank angle (short). Because not every table will play exactly the same, some might play long/short of natural play

Are you talking about 8 ball or 9 ball?

I think they should label it Up Your Pool Game and leave the SL rankings out of it because this video would help you through any rank. The consistency of your making your shots (Banking, kicking or otherwise) is what helps you win games in less innings more than anything else. Banking becomes more important the more defensive players you may come up against.

You can watch this a 10000 times and you still won't have an idea how to move up. The stuff here comes up less than 10 percent of the time. Youur a 5 because you dont know the fine points of playing for shape. Thats all. Why does apa put out so much weak content. 😅🙃
@quinnbaker19357 ай бұрын
This is poor content. 6’s are more consistent at shotmaking, they know when to play safeties, and they usually get very close to their position zone. 5’s are decent shotmakers but will occasionally miss easy shots and often miss long shots. 5’s also butcher a lot of safety attempts or choose weak safeties. And 5’s are often way off their position mark. They understand the concept of the tangent line but they haven’t put it into practice

Not bad systems but honestly you haven’t done anything to explain how to move from a 5-6 this is only a banking instructional video not how to move up in rank at all.

4:00 No one is going to mention how he was a half diamond away from where he said to hit???!!?
@b3p Жыл бұрын
He missed the first attempt lol. You can see that they spliced a different shot after the ball hit the rail because his bridge hand shifts positions at the splice :P

Banking is my weakness. I bought a Bobble ball, and my kicking is spot on. When it comes to banking it looks like I know what I'm doing, but I am always just guessing.
