No, its because Ketu is exalted. But then Mars is also exalted. However Ketu is in kendra and that makes it stronger than Mars which is in a non-kendra house. So we compare the placement strengths of the 2 lords to decide - but this helps to know which UL will come first. But another reason why I dont think UL with neecha Mer is likely is because this would definitely cause a downturn in relationship, and Mercury can cause infidelities.

She had extremely serious relationship (physically too) lasted for 6months..broke up due to different religious belief. Does it mean it was her first Spouse? Yes it seems to have been a serious relationship. Sun rules period of 6 months or ayana and debilitated Sun affected the relationship. If Lagna is Pisces, then 12H is Aquarius which has two lords Saturn and Rahu - so you have to see ULs formed by both. Normally when there is one lord of 12H, then from the first UL, see the 8H to see next UL.

From where have you got this dictum? Generally the problem of sexual promiscuity comes from Mars-Venus association in D9. Mercury and Moon in trines also can cause this. Planets in Scorpio or Aquarius in D9 are badly afflicted - the houses they lord in rashi chart - those relationships are affected.

My UL lagna lord Mars is in 5th house in pisces, aspected only by Moon from jaimini aspect. UL lagna is aspected by Rahu. So Lagna Leo, UL in Sco, and you have Sat, Jup in Aries - so they are aspecting UL. See, firstly you have to be sure that this UL will give marriage. We cannot be sure about it without studying the chart completely including Navamsha etc. Also just a comment - I believe by Jaimini aspect you mean Rashi drsti, while by Parashari aspect you mean graha drsti. This is a completely wrong notion. Parashara and Jaimini are not two different systems. Jaimini was shishya of Vedavyasa who was son and shishya of Parasara, so they are expounding the same system. And rashi drstis are mentioned in Brihat Parasara Hora Sastra as well.

So your wife has Pis Lagna, 12H is Aqu, and lord Saturn in Aries, so her UL due to Saturn is in Gem. This is not in trines to your Lagna in Aries, but we consider Rahu also as lord of Aqu, so Rahu can give UL in Aries or trines to Aries. Or if the lord of UL in Gem i.e. Mer were in Aries - that can also match. Now from your chart - Lagna in Aries. then UL cannot be in Aries. UL cannot be in 2nd house from 12th house. So please can you clarify.

UL has lord Ketu in own sign. 2L Jup is exalted - this is quite good. 2L benefic and exalted gives longevity to relationship. Would prefer Jup to be in kendra though. But you got to check other factors - any other malefics afflicting etc.

Upapada fasting will always give good results, except if that sign is related to 2nd house of rashi chart, then one shouldnt fast on that weekday, rather one should fast on the tithi based on house placement of UL lord. E.g. if say UL in Aries, which is 2H, then one shouldnt fast on Tuesdays and say if lord Mars is in 6th house then fast on shukla shasti. Again, one more exception is don't fast on tithi of spouse. That will break the relationship.

Basis one planet placement one cannot judge. UL in 10H indicates that this UL will get activated in work situations. A malefic always harms the house, Arudha etc. But Rahu is also 5th lord in 10th house giving a rajayoga. Rahu is also colord of 12H, so this UL has very good chance of giving a relationship. Rahu in Moon's sign, this partner can play mind games but need not necessarily be bad. Without seeing other planets and chart as a whole, D9 etc I won't comment any more.

Please dont judge married life entirely from UL. Ideally you should see the 7H, 7L in D9, Karaka Venus to judge these matters. UL is one of the important parameters. UL should be kendra to Jupiter for stability and trikona to Venus for affection

Malefic in 2H from UL can cause either breakage or ill-health. But if UL itself is strong, it can be overcome. Here from UL, Jup in kendra in uccha is a big blessing. Jup-Ven yoga is also auspicious. You also got to see which UL corresponds to which relationship. Check if the partner's Lagna is in trines to it or the lord of UL connects with Lagna.

UL with Ketu with Lagna lord - it matters which planet is the Lagna lord. If Saturn+ Ketu - its not a nice combination. If Jup+Ketu - then its a good combination in good houses. UL in Scorpio is not necessarily bad or good. UL in Aqu can be naturally problematic as UL-2L is Jup who doesnt like UL lord Rah.

It is for a serious relationship. Lord Krishna had said that any relationship more than a year is marriage. Our sages were liberal in defining what constitutes a marriage, these are various types of relationship - there are 8 types of vivaha including rakshasa marriage where the bride is kidnapped. What if a one-night stand results in a child - is that marriage. I would consider that a UL and marriage too, though one has to study the case.

Depends on lot of other factors. But the combination of Mer and Rah is not desirable, it can cause chaos. But it also matters where they are placed, what are the aspects on them etc. in Virgo this yoga can be quite good and may help overcome issues.

Exaltation will protect, but MKS (assuming D9 Lagna is correct) in Navamsa will give its negative effect as well. It can affect health of self or partner.

Basis this information you cannot say one way or the other. See if Venus is in trines to your Upapada lagna - that brings affection in relationship. UL in Pisces with Saturn doesn't sound positive - but you have to be sure that this indicates your wife.
