hi sir, may i ask whats the strongest intermolecular forces of attraction? there are varying perspectives along internet references and as well as my teachers on whether it is hydrogen bonding or ion-dipole interactions

Hi, @saulgoodman8681! Ion-dipole interaction (assuming all other factors, such as molecular size, are held constant) is generally stronger than hydrogen bonding. Since may ion ka na (therefore mas malaki ang difference in electronegativity), mas malakas na talaga siya since may charged molecule ka na. This is also the reason why ion-ion interaction is the strongest since both molecules are already charged. Hope this helps!
