You nailed it. In fact I think double and triple entendres sometimes go over people's heads and people get lost in wordplay and don't think about what they're hearing, they just think it sounds good. But being direct and going straight at someone seems more aggressive and comes across that you're not playing. There's nothing subjective or many interpretations. It is what it is. Your face during the entire song... I could tell you were thinking oh shit! This is bad.... for Upchurch, but this is so good... oh shit! Wash, rinse, and repeat with almost every line.
