I remember i bought some tickets to see Upchurch performed at Cotton Eyed Joe in like 2015 or 2016, and i fell asleep on the Fender of the DJ Booth through the concert not meaning too. I was Sober, and not drunk, i was the designated driver, and brought my girlfriend with me. At that time i was working 16 hour days sandblasting and painting a airplane hanger at Mcghee Tyson National Guard Airbase in Knoxville, Tn… i hate that i missed the concert.. i wore a brand New Sherwin williams or Pittsburg Paints hat for him to autograph for me bc im a 3rd generational painter, and has been a part of my musical inspiration by Upchurch to make music myself.
