My brother called this song his anthem. We lost him a month ago to Covid (September 12th, 2021) and played this at the closing of his funeral. It’s everything that Donnie Ray (DJ) was. When I want to feel close to him, I pull this up and listen. Ain’t nothing better than them holler boys! Fly high, D. ❤️ Just wanted to share... When DJ passed, he and his girlfriend were expecting a baby. He came early at 25 weeks gestation on December 26th, 2021. He is almost 8 months old now and is the spitting image of his daddy! I have no doubt that DJ sent us our sweet Waylon Ray. (Added 8/14/22)

That sucks power trough push your self to the other side the better side keep your self going no mater how hard it get I'm 15 and have been struggling with depression for the past 9 years I had times were I sat there and said to my self why am I pushing myself and not ending it then I look back at how I have been so selfish and how I lost all my family's trust so I keep reminding myself of that moment to get through it one something to keep you going and remind your self why your doing it push through no matter how hard it get being bullied for 6 years in a row by a set of twins has opened my eyes and has changed me in the best way possible. I wouldn't be here with out that pushing my down and I kept getting back up and pushing my self push your self and don't forget about them but don't hang on and stay there and get hung up on the and to be honest I think he would have wanted you to go and have a good time even when he's not there love your self and keep going doesn't matter how hard it gets push and open your eyes and remind your self of the thing that keeps you going and the reasons why you are here to day and still pushing
