Basically, blade armor/dominance ice, radiant armor and twilight armor and you should be protected from just about everything, you round up with dominance ice/blade armor or athena shield if needed, probably thunderbelt if you're playing carry tank (or healer lolita) and end with either inmortality or guardian helmet

Radiant Armor + Twilight Armor + Any item that has high Physical Defense = Can tank basically anything Radiant Armor has enough magical defense to deal with magic damage dealers plus its passive gives you even more magic defense. Twilight Armor deals with all damage types and has no cooldown so no need for Athena's Shield whose passive can be baited out. Now the only thing missing is an item that gives high physical defense (Like Dominance Ice and Blade Armor) or Antique Cuirass (an item that has decent physical defense and has a damage reduction against skill-based physical heroes). Will utility junglers come back?

As a hylos user, Twillight armor usually works in late game against lesley, lunox full penetration, and other one burst hit. Because hylos always be first pick, enemies have a chance to counter by using dmg based on hp. The most annoying thing is the dmg taken will never be higher than 800 but its rapid dmg especially from karrie, claude, and other aspd heroes with their hp-based dmg. Now I find the last 2 build for late game and those are queen's wings and blade armor/athena/antique quirass instead of guardian helmet with twillight armor. With the 500 hp caps update, I assume it will counter semi burst mage but karrie still be one of the best counter for hylos

Honestly they should also make getting assist more easier like the moment you tank enemy ult can be considered as assist and the duration after death to get assist should be longer. It's painful when you took 3-5 enemy ult and died, and then after your teammates took them out there's no assist at all when technically you actually did contribute (i.e. Eudora ult, Harley ult, etc)

Would you really want to build HP items with little to no defense on marksmen which are designed to dish out damage whilst having one of the lowest base HP and HP growth? If a marksman really needed to get an actual defense item on like a brody then they would get antique cuirass or Athena, any other tank items are bad to build like blade armor and twilight armor. Brody is most likely the only marksman who could feasibly get away with building antique quirass or Athena shield early, anyone else would be sacrificing their crucial power spikes; all of this because you are scared of eudora early game. TL;DR Doesn't mean they buffed twilight armor across every role doesn't mean everyone should build it(maybe only late game for some). I mean I get it, gold lane is one of the most horrible feeling roles to play but don't be out here thinking you can build your way out of every situation.

As a Tank Clint Main , I will surely use the Twilight Armor. When the Twilight Armor got an adjustment that made it so it had a cd , I used it every time but because it was changed I stopped. Good thing they made it more playable once more.

When you have too much defense, damage would be so low to the point where it cant even trigger twilight armor, or so small that there's no impact difference in reduced damage compare to original damage, making it less effective. However, after buying all the tanky stuff with no extra hp like bladearmor and dominance ice, or using tank heroes that befenits greatly with high hp amount then this is the perfect option

@@kimmochi4202 I did Antique Cuirass reduces Overall Physical Damage taken after every single skill cast onto the wearer and can stack up to 3 times. Athena’s Shield reduces 25% of the Overall Magic Damage taken for 3 seconds upon taking Magic Damage. It has a 5 seconds CD upon reinactivation outside of combat. Heck you even have Warrior Boots to decrease slight Physical Damage and can stack up to 5 times which is already a better defense item in the early stage of the game. That’s basically it. And you’re telling me I didn’t read? BS. Read the item passives again and it is EXACTLY or ALMOST EXACTLY as I typed.

Twilight armor are hella underrated, ive seen nobody rarely use this item nowadays but I do often use this against a lesley in late game, so basically it can negate against both physical and magic burst heroes now which is neat against annoying eudora who hides in bushes (no offence who main eudora, but still terrifying annoying when having sky piercer on her)

Hylos is gonna go back to being a niche EXP laner after this, lol! Before current Twilight version, it had the HP-based bonus damage per 2 seconds. As a high HP Tank, you could literally just burst just about every squishy and out damage many fighters in the game.

aside from this changes that i really love as one of tank players, i think moonton need to reconsider point scaling for players that really take objectives such as turrets pusher. personaly i think they're the real MVP
