I have made a set of paints in an Altoid box using the regular half-pans available from watercolor suppliers. I glue the sides of them together. They can be stacked to make a two-level set. When open, you lift out the top level and set in the open lid. My tin rusted, so I really like the idea of spraying with Rustoleum.

This is absolutely brilliant! You could have your cover for your Altoid tin from polymer clay, as well. I have a Williams Sonoma candy tin that's a little over 5X9 inches and about an inch deep. It will be perfect for organizing all my tube watercolors in "pans" in one place. I'll probably decorate the lid with polymer clay, beads, etc., like people do with journal covers. Whew, I almost threw that tin away last week!

The watercolor paper can be a bit bigger if you have a rounded-corner paper punch!!! Not sure if everyone wants their watercolor paper to have rounded corners, but it's a option. I bought the 3-in-1 corner cutter. P.S. I would love to buy your craft table! Looks like a combination of marble and abstract art.

What paper is best for these pens?\
@elizabethnichols27323 жыл бұрын
How did you bind the paper? I’m stuck on this step- if I put the book binding tape on just the outside of the water color paper? Or on the inside and outside? Any help is appreciated!
@ystreetstudio3 жыл бұрын
Just the outside! That way it’s not too attached so you can pull the paper out when you’re ready to use it

Hello how many degrees did you set your oven for the polymer clay?
@ystreetstudio3 жыл бұрын
275 Fahrenheit! It depends on the clay though and all clay will come with instructions!
