Super cute. Duplicate stitch is a very handy embellishment and I love that blue yarn has some volume to it against the off-white. Thank goodness Mac approves!

I love the blue color too, it is my most favorite color. I drive a 20 year old VW Beetle this exact color! This is so unique and created with excellent workmanship. Simply gorgeous! I am 2nd generation German heritage too, both parents! I would love to visit Germany when I retire. ❤❤❤

Knitting is good for the soul, easy once you get the hang of it and a great way to make gifts for special people and dogs. I am sorry that you lost your dog is it? That is never easy.

@@finleykim Yes, my little boy dachshund. I rescued him when he was 2 years old and we were together for 14.5 years, so he lived 16.5 years. The math involved in knitting just mystifies me. It's like counting the number of jellybeans in a gigantic jar to guesstimate the number for a "Guess How Many Jellybeans" contest! Lol!

I’m so sorry to hear about your doxie but happy to hear you had 14.5 wonderful years together 🤍 That’s definitely understandable - I love the jellybean comparison 😄 In that case, if you’re ever interested in picking up knitting, using a pattern is a great way to start because the knit designer does the math for you. 🙂

Do you follow Arne and Carlos? They have an interesting video today about reknitting a sweater that you might find interesting. They used duplicate stitch to embellish it a while back and it's lovely, but I am a big fan of their Scandinavian aesthetic.

I hadn’t heard of them before, but I just watched their latest video! Super interesting - I’ve never dabbled into altering knits I haven’t made. That sounds like a fun process though, especially finding out that the raglan was knitted flat! Thanks for the recommendation, Kim 🙂
