you can use painters tape around bottle where you cut is going to be it helps prevent damage, but not foolproof just an extra precaution its helps the edges from chipping !
@richardkrisher279321 сағат бұрын
You need to make a jig or cradle to hole the bottles. It would reduce the danger to you if the bottle breaks. Keep up the great videos! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Can you take the left over pieces of glass to someone to melt them down and reuse the glass for something else (ie: glassblowing)? Or could your lovely wife use some pieces for her earring projects? Rashed glass would be the same as sea glass I would think, which people make jewelry out of.

Please wear ear protection when working with loud tools! My dad is profoundly deaf now and never wore any kind of ear protection or even ear plugs. You can’t get your hearing back once you lose it. You can even get an app on your phone to check the decibel level when that saw cuts through the glass.
