As somebody who always wants to listen to the lore. But never has any patients for listening to it in game when I could be playing. Could you guys give us some way to be listen to this lore outside of the game app? Can we get a way to play the audio but then go off and load out new hunters or swap screens off the lore page? Also a lore archive would be amaze! I hate that if I forget to read / listen I’m just SOL.

There was a great question I saw now while replaying this: Have you guys thought about adding these new ammo crates into quickplay as well? EDIT: They actually mentioned this, but I missed it. These crates will be in quickplay (or Soul Survivor for some, never me ), so yeah this will be interesting

Grab your gear boys and girls, because things are about to get real interesting in the bayou. Love it! You guys are getting better and better at tuning these events. During Tides of Shadows it was easy to pick a favorite pact I would want to use because some were just down right better than others, but these all have really cool things to bring to the table.

The death pact sounded great, seemed to fit my play style and all. But then, you mentioned the Infernal pact and honestly that one seems OP. You can't be set on fire, even while downed? You can restore heath chunks by killing people? And on top of all that, you can actually run trough the inferno while others have to go around? That all sounds insanely good. Honestly I am a bit worried about all the self-reviving solos that can't be burned any more, unless you carry 3 firebombs in your pocket.

It sounds like the fire just doesn't catch on, but the body still burns slowly while in the flames. So basically the same as dying under heavy rain.

If you played last event, the fire pact was the most underused pact. Saying something is OP before trying it out in game is not the play, chief. Besides, even if it is OP, that's what these events are for; to try new perks out and adapt gameplay styles to see what would fit in the game permanently. If playing this game since day one of early access has taught me anything it is that the Hunt devs do listen to feedback from the player base, so our feedback needs to be grounded in experience and game time, not hearsay and speculation. Enjoy the event. Run through the fire. Track the damned. Roll your traits. Then, when you're on the other side, take a look back on things with more knowledge and helpful feedback.

The pacts all seem incredibly juiced this event (they've been getting stronger each time), and I'm here for it! High powered crazy character builds really make events fun. The fact that Infernal is essentially immune to fire and bleed is kinda crazy though. And the trait roulette seems nutty. Honestly, the most 'balanced' pact seems to be the death pact, and they already seem extremely powerful. This'll be an interesting few months (I'm assuming it's another two month event? I think I missed the end date). The added features/gear/weapons seem really cool, and I love the regen shot change. I run that every round I can afford it. And the conduit change is awesome. Sad the duration is less, but love that I no longer have to fight for the clue. And I'm really happy it sounds like they made the event less grindy. That's been the killer for me for each event, and the biggest thing I wanted addressed.

Looks great! Would love to see the ability to "park" a beetle places, and reconnect to them. Even if it took a channeled reconnect via darksight similar to serpent, I'd use beetles far more if they weren't effectively one-time use. Maybe having to slowly "disconnect" from them to get them to remain stationary/active rather than fall to the ground. Using them to set traps, use as a distraction, etc would be really cool. Currently they are almost only good for initiation, and it took me dozens of matches to even find people using them to complete challenges for shooting them. When they're static and active, they could chirp or buzz louder or something as a balance. Or just make a non-attack beetle that is a "recon" one and able to do so.

The Devs and this game continue to be amazing. Every new weapon and tool just adds another layer of new options. I still think they could add muzzle loading muskets, like the Baker etc. Can’t wait to mess around with all the new gear.

I was actually joking with my friends about the event being pushed back on console and what do ya know!? Why not just be honest? Why keep saying for two weeks 4th of October and I then 24hours before the event is supposed to go live give console players the bad news, and it's not the waiting that's the problem, it's being strung along by the devs that is just dishonest. We aren't children, well not all of us anyway, just tell us the console event will come shortly after the PC. Be honest with us and we'll respect you for it, lie to us and you'll be sure to loose a handful of players here and there.

I don't think the Scottfield needed anymore love as it's already one of the most used pistols. Also, the flashbomb animation really uses the the Quickplay win hand animation? kinda lazy. Everything else looks pretty good though

i love the new editions but this game is already so rifle centric, like sure theres shotguns but they dont feel as varied compared to rifles, i really think its time to add more outside the box weapons and not your standard point and shoot
