Keep in mind the boss was walking through around 5 of those traps and they deal a constant stream of damage while going. Probably wouldn't be so potent if you only had one of them up.

I think the fire arrows would be perfect for caves, seeing as when using most ranged weapons in caves it puts your torch away leaving you blind in the dark.

Yeah they’re cool for that I just hate how oce you shoot it it just goes pitch black until you can pull out your lighter and light the next and by that point whatever you shot just ran up on you in the dark while you couldn’t see it lol

23:28 I wish it was like that, but it's capped at 20 Arrows per type (60 total) If it wasn't capped, that would mean 100 arrows of each type (20 x 4 upgrades + 20 non-upgraded). We'd be able to have 300 Arrows in total, plus the 20 Crossbow Bolts. But sadly, we can only hold 60 Arrows and 20 Bolts (80 in total).

Also, good thing about these traps, some of them seem to be cave friendly (they don't need logs). So they could be interesting to secure caves close to your base where the monsters spawn. Maybe one or 2 in the rooms where there are a lot of blindies, this will be useful as hell.

I didn't even think about putting them in a cave... The end boss cave will be a fun one to set loads up.

The grinder trap is great because it’s a 1 shot buuuttt the spear trap draws in more cannibals. Because when one goes down they have an option to go help that one and try to drag them away. Which means they can also get shot.

I'm a big fan of that spin trap. It's not cheap but it's very effective! The grinder is cool. VERY expensive! But the area of effect is kinda small for how expensive it is I also like the spear trap because of how many spears it holds and shoots before you have to reset it. That end boss... He did set off 5 traps. Each trap does a certain amount of damage. Multiply that times 5. Each trap has it's benefit in certain situations. It will be fun making an obstacle course type of gauntlet with all the traps.

Maybe try the flaming/poison arrows against the big cannibals and demons? Might be somewhat effective. If not then there's really no point to them. Also maybe try the shock arrows against the demons? If it stuns them then they might have some tactical value if you don't have explosives on you.

I found the spotlights to work ok. I put a set up on the 2nd floor which gave a fair amount of light out to spear range? Then another set on the 1st floor and took out the skull lamps and had much less glare/night blindness. Edit; I think the Spear Chucker Jones trap is fine the way it is. Good for choke points. I would like to see a separate base for it that you have to build to get it to swivel.

You don't really need mods. The cheatstick option gets you really far. Unless you are talking about the mythical "naked Virginia" mod. Hate to disappoint you. She is built like Barbie just like the cannibals.
