I have a 2011 Chrysler 300. I went to the dealership December 2022 for minor maintenance. Now I'm having a little problem with the car engine. I have just about 57k miles on the car. Can you please help me.😢

Minds just went out 14 300 3.6 it was whining. I Shut it down went grocery shopping came back started engine and car said awd off adaptive cruise control off and wouldn't shift out of park. Turnt off engine but car wouldn't goto to off just assy and Starr. Disconnected the battery and connected it and started it back up same lights still won't shift out of park so now the shop saying I need a trans...

Looking at buying a 2012 available at a local dealer. Only 23k miles (supposedly a grandma that only went to church and grocery store) super low miles, but should I be worried about getting vehicle service contract on it due to age and failing electronics? I have money to pay regular service, but would be worried about $3-$6k for major engine or transmission issues.

I own an srt 300 12’ it’s an amazing eye catcher BUT I’ve had many issues camshaft, alternator, radiator as well just be on the look find a mechanic you can trust and be on time with maintenance especially with these type of veichles

I have a 2012 chrysler 300 3.6 I drove it over a dog and transmission started to leak its fluid from breather hose at the top of it Then every time I refill it with the right fluid does the same thing again it's like the transmission is overheating. Does anybody have an idea what could caused this issue? Thanks in advance!

I have a 2015 Chrysler 300s v8. When i turn on sport mode and slam on the gas pedal and the transmission cut out as if I hit the brake but I didn’t what can this be.

@@southsidefroskee you'll be fine! Common issues i dealt with was, front lower forward control arms, plastic water outlet breaking, grinding when steering [electronic power steering fluid] and transmission endangerment or shift quality [done video on it] but you'll be good! Be mindful of millage and if they're offering warrenty, get it in writing! Goodluck

Hi how long it takes too relearn after a reset of the transmission?

Within a couple miles, car needs to accelerate and decelerate to learn adjust the transition.

Because i went too my dealer ship in the Netherlands en did it for me but i did drive now 1000 km and i am feeling how it changes the gears and they toold me it can maybe take for 3000km too relearn

@@omer1005 was there any codes present within the transmission? If not, the car is satisfied and there other external causes, maybe engine mounts, maybe driveshaft

@@omer1005 gotcha... Best suggestion is to try a fluid change and filter, it'll remove the containments and enhance the fluid circulation, which should reduce temperatures. Can't go wrong with this... Also, the old fluid will cause issues transitioning between gears. I had this happen before with other vehicles

I know it is difficult to explain complex problems while making a relevant video, but I applaud your attempt to contribute your thoughts and observations. I own a 2008 Chrysler which for most parts has worked OK, but as a HW/SW electronics Engineer for over 40 years, I am sadly disappointed with Chrysler engineers. I think it was a mistake for tax payers bailing out GM for their continuous design failures. An Engineer can use a microprocessors for an optimum toaster design, but before doing so, he/she has to ask if it is going to make it reliable or just another new set of variables that will be added for a minute performance improvements. Frankly, if an engineer writes the code which can not reset an adaptive microprocessor algorithm to a known (RESET) state, then the SW engineer must look for a new line of work. I have been buying American cars for last 50+ years, and sadly disappointed with my efforts trying to support our US auto industry. Perhaps it is time for me to consider import cars. Always vote with your valet. I wish I could recommend Chrysler 300, but I can NOT.

I agree... Its like American cars are design to fail! I'd assume because of the more strict emissions in other countries, or maybe their strict structured culture [Japanese] that being a failure is a tag on their integrity and if you're not 1st, then you're last. Hmm... Our countries general public don't have the cognitive competition as other counties. I agree with what you said

2008 the 300 wasn’t designed by Chrysler. It was a mercedes platform, with mercedes electronics, and mercedes engines. There lies your issue.

@@ElDeOroJoselito1 not yet buddy it's done it couple times. It's definitely concerning it's like it doesn't wanna switch out that gear then finally will but I gotta figure it out I'll lyk of do thinking of trying to get a pcm update but can only be done at the dealership
