My biggest takeaway is it’s time to acknowledge that Jalen Hurts does whatever he needs to do to win. Stats and accolades mean nothing to him. He now understands that turnovers kill. If he needs to pass he does. If he needs to check to a run, he does. If he needs to run it himself, he does. If he needs to just throw it away or take a loss, he does. And no matter how he is still DISCREDITED from sports talk show guys, he is a clutch champion. He has outplayed mahomes in Super Bowl twice. Side note: the eagles have the second youngest roster in the NFL.

I’m going to go in a different direction with the main takeaway: Special Teams… They kept Mahomes on his side of the field the first half with great tackling. Both of Mahomes picks directly led to 14 pts. Rookie Cooper DeJean with no muffed punts, Elliot with no missed FGs or point after. How many times do we lose big games because special teams were such a big issue? Moody clanking extra points and missed FGs. Muffed punts, etc. Yes, the eagles defense made the biggest difference but ST played really well and magnified Mahomes blunders in his side of the field.

No the biggest takeaway was that that Eagles Dline is what the 49ers envisioned their line doing. 4 rushers pass rushing like their hair is on 🔥, hitting Mahomes alot, sacking Mahomes alot. Disrupting Mahomes alot and having seven in coverage. What the Eagles did is what we're looking to do. We're still trying to find someone to bookend withBosa. We need to upgrade the whole dline instead.

Don't overreact to Philly's win. KC didn't earn the record that they had. They got extremely lucky and barely won several games that they should've lost during the season, so KC wasn't as good as their record suggested. As far as Purdy, I hope he remembers how fortunate a situation he was given and doesn't let his greedy agent ruin his career by demanding a ridiculous contract. Most other quarterbacks end up on awful franchises while Purdy joined a perennial NFC championship contender.

Hurts has 2 man beaters in AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. The Chiefs did exactly what they did against us which was sell out to stop the run. They had man beaters and we didn’t. Also the Eagles O line is massive filled with young talent and held up - ours failed in the most critical moments on 3rd downs.
