We were fortunate to secure an earlier appointment for Millie on 1/22/24. However, my daughter hadn’t yet transferred the GoFundMe funds to our bank account.
I wasn’t familiar with how that process worked but expected the funds wouldn’t be immediately available, especially since there’s typically an identity verification step.
As GoFundMe explained, it can take a few days to transfer the funds, and they estimated it would be in our account within a week or less.
As a result, we’ll need to keep the original appointment date of 1/28/24.
