Her Life was sacrificed for us who have now entered a similar situation, the moral of her story is, Follow that doctor and do exactly as they suggest! Bless her and may she be in a happier place than we can ever imagine!

I couldn't believe it when she said that she was declining chemo and radiation. And especially for the one she had TNBC. She was too foolish to do what she did, knowing that she had family members she should've tried hard to live for. She made foolish decisions and paid the price.
@cruisemermaid1284 Жыл бұрын
I honestly do not know if whether or not she immediately started chemo she would have had any different outcome - which is a sad reality of most cancers. When she was initially diagnosed she was Stage 3 so I just really don’t fault her for forgoing treatment when she did and tried other treatment ways - There are so many people that are even Stage 1 that do ALL the treatment and still end up passing away due to this triple negative cancer being so relentless …

My aunt was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer when I was 11. I don't know what stage it was but it was right before Christmas that i found out. She didn't want chemo or radiation because they already diagnosed it as terminal and just wanted it to take its course. Then, she found out that my cousin is pregnant and wanted to meet him so she decided to start the treatment. By February she was stick thin (she was previously obese). On mother's day she died. She never got to meet her grandson. I called my grandma to ask her to tell my auntie that I loved her and one of the last things she ever said was "tell taylor( me) that I love her too". Around February my family went to visit her( before she died obviously) and I couldn't go because I was too scared to see her. I regret it so much. She used to come visit us on thanksgiving and it'll never be the same.

Beautifully and clearly explained. I have never heard any doctor or medical professional explain the whole process, terminology, options and variations in such a logical and easily understandable presentation. I know you are no longer with us here on earth Christina and you battled hard, but I do know your loving family and friends are still around, and I wanted to share with them what a wonderful, helpful guide of information both you and they have left for the world to learn from. These VLOGS are essential viewing for many people in life, whether they have cancer, are supporting a loved one with cancer, or like me, are purely interested in what Christina has to say and her experiences. So, thank you everyone, and I wish peace and comfort to all. 💕

I so wish I was not going through medical issues of mine own and financial worries and could donate to you and your family. Our medical system HAS to change for Gods sake, the last thing a person needs/any person is exactly what your going through financially with the insurance / hospital bills, etc.... there are so many being "slow walked" through the system till they have no further funds, no assistance, fighting long term disability/ disability, insurance companies etc. Their financial lives being ruined as well as their physical life, what that does to them emotionally is so equally harmful. I am ashamed of our country and the laws that have given the power to the companies to direct physicians in the way care is given and in the way insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies continue to wrong the American people. Tears don't fall they crash around me...... Keep fighting , stay strong, be the one still here in 20 years, you are so inspirational to me! If I had money girl I swear this is one thing you would not have to worry about. Not money, not whether you would be able to get another treatment, or pay the bill. I love you and I would take any part of this from you if I could. There are so many people going through the same thing just under different diagnosis's. IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE AMERICA, SHE IS ALL OUR SISTER IN SPIRIT , PLEASE SUPPORT HER IF YOUR ABLE!

First of all for a person who is on so much chemo and steroids you look great so no apologies! Okay Ma'am? Secondly I am a Nurse Practitioner (Retired) who specialized in Onc. and palliative and terminal care for patients aged 18 to 25 in the UK and I can honestly say that I have NEVER heard such a clear and concise explanation of the term and in that time categorized at 'Terminal'. I have found that patients like you who educate themselves are the ones who are more prone for excellent outcomes. I am sure that you have periods of grief which is completely normal however filling up that brain of yours with knowledge and sharing it also makes you a far better patient. Keep reading studies. Don't limit yourself to the USA either as the UK and Israel are doing a lot of work in the field. Keep your 'eye on the ball' and try and surround yourself with positivity. I know from experience that it is hard BUT when you get depressed your immune system will weaken and I do not have to tell a well informed woman such as yourself what that means. I wish you calm and peace and may your God go with you.

Dear Christina.... I don't know why some ppl complain seriously about long videos..... I mean, sometimes ya just gotta talk and explain what's happening and that takes some time...... Time is precious, and by listening to someone share about what's happening to/with them, you are sharing their time, which I think is special and very valuable. Maybe more so for me than you..... Could be...... I appreciate your updates on video, as Facebook etc are more difficult for me to navigate therefore I tend not to use them. So I know making videos takes energy and time, as I used to and that's partly why I haven't in quite some time now. So thank you. I've gotten to care about you as a fellow woman and mom and I am thankful to know how u r, even if God forbid it would not be good.. I am very glad to hear the reversal of some of that cancer in you liver etc, that is tremendous. I hope and pray April 21st scan is NED. You've been through so much and I know you don't feel strong at times and it all sucks terribly. But let me tell you something..... You have a somewhat chubby face, but it is nowhere near the magnitude of chub bigness that you see. And regardless, it is a gorgeous, real, love-filled face. Your big beautiful dark brown eyes are the same eyes that look lovingly upon your wee daughter and gave in loving annoyance at your hubby. You feel sick, you have side effects upon side effects and are so very fatigued..... And you sure don't feel beautiful and like your "old" self...---but, you are still you-Christina..., the Christina your family loves, and the people you meet here and there find you approachable and most of all strong....and graceful. That is what I get from time spent watching your vlogs for however long now...... You are doing all the right things for this moment. You are giving what you can and should and no one has the right to say otherwise. Keep on keeping on friend, it fits you just right, sick or not, you are a picture of strength and grace to me. Prayers and hugs from here, Kim..

Christina I feel as if I do not have the words to describe just how proud, honoured, and lucky I feel to have met you, from afar, and the opportunity I have been given to be able to call you my friend! You have been dealt way more than your fair share, and then some, and I know you have just been given a major 'kick in the head' with the lastest treatments. If I could only take this all away from you........... all I can do is to continue to adore you, support you, think of you, pray for you, and have my parents and my friends and family do the same. You are incredible, and as much on your plate as you have had, you still feel compelled to educate others on cancer, and the experience you are having!!! As both a survivor and as an oncology nurse, that means so very much to me!! I know you have had to lower your expectations with respect to the state of your home,and with trying to cope with how you feel you currently look. I have been trying to learn how to deal with that in response to my slow recovery from the concussion I got on New Year's too, so I am with you there, sweetie (can I say how much shedding dog hair is swirling around here from two Shepherds,despite Tim trying to keep it in check with the vacuum all of the time????!). If we could only just give all of the silly 'anxiety' we feel, totally up, eh?!!!What is wrong with us?!!! You look so gorgeous, Christina, and those of us who care so deeply for you do not see the symptoms of chemo and steroids; we see the beauty we know as Christina...your lovely lips, your awesome eyes, and the warmth, love, caring,compassion, and truth that is the essence of you that is still visable in the glow of your face and your smile. I wouldn't tell you this if it wasn't the truth, missie!! Thinking of you so much, and hoping for a great test April 21rst. I hope you have more of the better days until then, than the rough ones, and I know you will enjoy the comfort and solice of being with Ernesto, Ava, Alyssa, your family, and your friends. Now I am rambling, but know that I am sending many virtual hugs, and lots of care, concern, and adoration to you, and your lovely little family. You rock, PINK sisterfriend, Sherrey XOXOXOXO❤❤❤❤

Could you please explain why you refused traditional medicine for the homeopathic route when you were first diagnosed? I feel that might have not been in your best interest, and is the reason the cancer was able to progress. I know if I or a loved one was diagnosed with cancer I'd have every modern medical treatment I could to try to eradicate it no matter what the side effects. At least I'd be alive for my family. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 BC in 1993 and continues to have doctors aggressively treated. She may have bad days, but she is still with us and although the cancer is still in her bones and lymphatic system, she is still very much alive and active on her good days.I wish you the best.

Idk she was diagnosed with a deadly cancer and instead of taking the most aggressive approach to treat it. she waited like 11 months probably trying that natural diet stuff she found on KZbin against everyone wishes even her herbalist. Even when she discovered her cancer had resurface larger in the same spot she week to a nature clinic for like 3 weeks before hitting chemo. We never know what would of happen had she tried conventional methods first. It's sad tho she was a mother and wife

Because her cancer was same as mine Triple negative It means estrogen, progesterone , Her2 - negative The pill cannot stop hormones from " meeting"" the cancer and " feed" it It has negative ( no) effect , in other words Now the scientists are experimenting to come with a shot I am a 21 yr survivor of the same cancer ( right breast I was 36) and 1 yr survivor of the left ( triple negative ) but I got mastectomies and chemo from the start unlike Christina , and radiation the first time because the lymph nodes were affected I was also tested positive like Angelina Zoli for the gene that causes it , so I had a radical hysterectomy in July My mom died from br cancer when I was 15 and my sisters 11 and 13 I had 3 kids ages 11,9 and 6 the first time

I am amazed by your bravery and strength. I offer this information I have spent 20 years collecting. Ways to make it easier to deal with conventional treatment. "Glutathione reduces the toxicity and improves quality of life of women diagnosed with ovarian cancer treated with cisplatin: results of a double-blind, randomised trial. Smyth JF, Bowman A, Perren T, Wilkinson P, Prescott RJ, Quinn KJ, Tedeschi M. ICRF Medical Oncology Unit, Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, UK." Should you be interested in Integrative oncology ideas, I would be pleased to talk to you. I am a volunteer, founder of Annie Appleseed Project.
