UPDATE Chrome refresh for 2023: Changes to the New tab page layout, with new single-row shortcuts

I found a way, instead of looking for NTP Single row Shortcut , you have to search NTP Modules Redesigned and disable it , it worked for me. and sorry my bad english

Go into flags and set "Temporarily unexpire M128 flags" & Temporarily unexpire M129 flags" to enabled and relaunch. This will bring back the "NTP Modules Redesigned" option. Disbale and relaunch. (only temporary)

It worked for me the first time, thank you very much. It's a shame that you always have to resort to these methods to fix shortcuts, instead of just creating a customization option in the browser itself.

No way to revert back to double rows. Google has removed NTP single row flag where user could opt in or out of experiment. Seems permanent at this point. I saw a link on Reddit saying type in 'surface polish' but that doesn't work either.

@@bethg4934 Yes. Go to the flags page and search for and "enable" the 2 flags that say "temporarily unexpire 122 and 123 flags." Then type in NTP and the NTP for "single row" will populate. You have to scroll down to find it. From there, you can disable it--- again! They say though at some point these unexpire flags will go away so not sure what the work around will be then.

@@Sandrinesgallery Doesn't work anymore. Flags 122, 123 are gone as is my original comment regarding the flags. Even if you disable and relaunch all the Chrome 2023 Refresh UI flags, that does nothing. Why even provide the option? Obviously, no customize chrome side panel option either. I think this time, the developers have pretty much made it impossible to have double rows or the older UI.

When I type in ntp s I get (NTP Sharepoint Module Shows the Sharepoint module on the New Tab Page. - Mac, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, Lacros) I dont get the same thing you do when you type the same thing. I don't know why? I don't get the (single row shortcuts) All I want to do is get rid of this horrible one line of short cuts. I have tried several fixes from tech "experts" and none of them have worked. #ntp-sharepoint-module
