You can fix this by opening the creative menu and turning on Dev items. Look for the "Quest Tickets" and grab however many that you need to finish level two. Use them one at a time and talk to the trader in between each one to get your reward. If you need to fix several levels and don't want to wait for the next day then you can enter debug mode, talk to the trader, then use the "Reset quests" option. You can then start using more tickets to raise the next level. It's a pain in the ass, but not as much as doing all of the tiers over. Of course it would be much easier to just make Gen do it for you LOL

i've never had an issue with tiers and levelling, after opening routes to other traders i just go back and continue on higher tiers. Nice video, was fun to watch!

I had the same problem in my game - the trader suddenly gave me the reward for completing Tier 1 and sent me back down to T1 and 2 quests. It probably was one of the updates that broke it. I just kept going instead of trying to find a fix and progression does still seem to work, it may have just been a trader quest status reset, that's what I'm hopin.

If you haven't learned the ability to make the SMG auto turret you might not be able to use it, load it or repair it - not sure with this version. You need a few batteries, a battery bank and a wire tool to hook one up. Or engines, generator bank, fuel and a wire tool - you can hook up a battery pack to the generator bank and the generators will recharge the batteries.

All of the electrical stuff is governed by intellect. In order to build an auto turret you need to be at a fairly late stage in order to make a motion sensor - and you can save quite a lot of time and resources either buying the whole thing or buying the motion sensors - they're pretty rare items at traders.

I'm not finished with this video so you may have figured this out, but it looks like you went to a trader that just HAS tier 3 quests and haven't finished tier 2, once you have tier 2 complete all traders will have tier 3. also you could just walk under that fire, and you entered the room with the valve I think, but left it immediately. ~

I haven't played 7d2d for a long while. I discovered the fact that all crafting progression is gated by BOOKS! It's an absolute turn off to NOT be able to level up crafting by actually crafting items. I play online on servers only and I absolutely HATE having to find a book store that isn't already looted . I"m like several days in to official release 1.0 and at level 95 yet I'm still only able to craft shit items, and I've just gotten enough forge ahead books to be able to craft a forge. The books being the gate way to crafting is absolutely idiotic. Luckily there are some older servers out there running alpha 20's etc.
