Yes another (long-winded) update video from me! I've been getting a LOTTT of questions lately on where I've been, why didn't we do another 5-day challenge in July and AM I OK?!?!?! :D Haha. I absolutely agree that the missing piece is emotions. I've learned a lot from listening to Dr. Gabor Mate about how our suppressed emotions cause physical problems, like over eating, and especially cause disease.❤

It’s our mindset! I’m a nutrition coach for women and I see this a lot! I learned through my own journey! There is just so much conflicting information out there and it has confused a lot of people! Our mindset is very powerful! Our thoughts are powerful! As long as you eat a well balanced meal and mainly Whole Foods, avoid refined and processed foods. Eat real whole food that God made and not man made! You will in turn have a healthy body, a healthy body will lose weight easily as a side effect! You don’t lose weight to get healthy, you get healthy to lose weight, and a healthy body loses fat. We as wome want to lose weight to be skinny, but in fact we need to get healthy instead! We need to work on mindset. It’s like a journey, we got to go from one side to get to the other, there may be roadblocks but we learn to get through it! We as women go through so much emotions, we have a lot to bare! Hormones play a huge part. But you will over come it! Don’t give up! You have helped so many people! You have been through a lot this past several years!

I have done this way of eating in the past and have been very successful. I lost 70 pounds at one point and was able to get off insulin after being on it for over 14 years. Because of a major surgery on my hip, my body was traumatized, and I had to be put back on insulin. I’ve also gained a lot of weight! I am not healthy at this point and that is my goal. My friend Dawn and I talk every single day and try every single day at this point she’s doing much better than I am, but I want to get there too. I never felt so good and all my lab work was absolutely excellent! I want that again. I’ve gotten online and gotten the cheat cheats again, and I’m going to do this… As you say, it’s one day at a time! Sending you love! Jackie (Schumacher) Johnson

You ARE going to do this, my dear friend. Keep in mind, I mean you KNOW I love Dawn and she's amazing. But she will not be the one to get you where you need to be. YOU will be the one. It's gotta come from inside you. And I know it's in there, you'll find it. One day at a time, and one meal at a time. One set of thoughts and emotions at a time. And the better you get at the internal work, the more the cravings go away.

For me WFPB did a lot for me…. But, I have to do no sugar and no flour. Those 2 things are totally addictive….

Hi Cheri, Thank you for all your support over the years. I'm interested in your new Vitality program. I met with Lydia on a zoom information call recently and found I'm not able to afford private coaching at this time. Would this new program similar in price? What might help you: Set small manageable goals to reach your target 🎯. Keep in mind that body composition looks like this: Example Target 🎯 Goal: Lose 40 pounds of fat and gain 8 pounds of muscle. (This will radically alter your body). For a Net Loss of 32 pounds. Remember that the scale does not tell the full story and set your goals & expectations accordingly. This REALISTIC goal setting approach Works! Small attainable goals: 1. Lose 2 pounds of fat and gain 1 pound of muscle for a net loss of one pound. (Typically takes 2-4 weeks). 2. Focus on losing 2 more pounds of fat and maintaining/building another half pound of muscle. (2-4 weeks typically). Keep going slow and steady. You can and will reach your micro-goals, one step at a time. RESULTS TYPICAL!!! 🎉
