Rumor is that the Dolphin Pool will be going down for renovations this fall to renovate it with, wait for it, a lazy river. If true, it should be a great addition to the property, but they would have to start heating that pool to get the most out of it. Your coverage of this property is pretty great! I enjoyed watching your videos before returning. I think a lazy ricer would be fantastic at this property. As you suggested in one of your videos, better if they turned the lagoon in the North Courtyard to a lazy river. But turning the dolphin pool into a lazy river would be okay too. We were there for spring break, and the ingested pools were too cold for use at the time.

Thanks for checking out the videos, glad they helped! I think they’re all great properties and really you can’t lose. I like the 2 vacation club properties better myself. They don’t have as many dining options on site but the Grande Ocean and Ocean Oak are right next to each other and are a walk or easy bike ride to Coligny Plaza where there’s lots of options.

By any chance, do you know if the bike rental place has E bikes and whether or not they have those attachable wagons that can have 1-2 kids?

@@MaazFitter Yes they have the Avocado ebikes. They require a little bit of peddling but they’re still pretty cool. They also have regular bikes with child seats and trailers for rent. Now I don’t know if they have e-bikes with child attachments. But there’s options.

It’s actually right next door to the Ocean Oak and with the renovations to the villa it’s pretty comparable. I really like both properties and don’t think you could lose with either. It’s definitely worth giving the Grande Ocean a try!

How would you compare this to Omni? I have 2 little kids and looking for great pools for the little ones and close access to the beach.

It's a little different than the Omni because it's a vacation club/timeshare property instead of a hotel. So at the Grande Ocean you're going to have much more space because the units are 2 bedrooms villas with full kitchens instead of a hotel room. However the amenities are going to be much the same. In fact the Grande Ocean has 4 pools, lots of activities, and close to the beach. But the downside is there is only 1 restaurant/bar and grill on the property whereas the omni has several dining options. Personally I love the Grande Ocean and think it's a better buy but it depends on what you're looking for. Also, the Grande Ocean is in a great location and is an easy bike ride or walk to Coligny plaza. Hope this was helpful!

@@nicolesantopetro5012 Yes out of the hotels I like the Omni the best. The rooms are studio suites and have a little kitchenette which is nice. The Omni also has a playground which is a bonus. The Sonesta is cool too, rooms are standard but it has the nicest lobby. Also check out the Ocean Oak by Hilton Grand Vacations, it's next door to the Grande Ocean and is also nice. I suggest booking a cancelable room for your dates to lock something in and keep checking back. Availability often opens up. Happy to answer any questions to help. Thanks for checking it out!! Unfortunately I don’t think any of the hotels in Hilton Head are all inclusive. If you go the Vacation Club route you can have a full kitchen at least. Still there’s lots of cool properties and with plenty spots to eat, both on property and off.
