update - my heart ablation

Hello Vita, Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in...I'm 7 years post ablation and have never had any SVT's since! Like you, I did have a few within the first 2-3 weeks, but after that...none! That procedure restored my life to normal and gave me a new lease on life. It was a God send! Blessings!😊

Thanks so much for putting up these video!!! I was in the Operating Room last week and I have the cattered oblation procedure done to me. I do really recommend this medical procedure. The operation last about 3 and 1/2 hours and about 8 hours in the recovery room. In my case I was discharged the same day. Right now I am doing really well and I already started doing some normal things around my home.

@@MrBriscoefc He was diagnosed with SVT. He had his abalation it took 6 hours instead of 4 hours. he is doing well. he returned to school this week.

Wow, you should never wait two hours when your heart is beating that fast! Thank God you're OK and ablation worked! I have wpw and need ablation. I've been dealing with thus for over 30 years.

Anyone there if your heart passes 200 even for a second go to hospital immidiatally , it is not supposed to happen if you are +20 yo , her ablation is an obligation for wold parkinson white syndrome but not for SVT because SVT is usually much more benign

I've just had my ablation in London too! I'm 4days post op and so far no palpitations..... I'm so happy! I was having multiple bouts of palpitations daily so I feel now I can get my life back! Really hope your procedure was a success too!

Im 66 and had open heart surgery last april for an aortic aneurysm then for 6 to 7 months my bpm was 120 to 130 all the time untill november when I had a cardioversion where they shocked my heart,since Ive been in normal rhithm but the doctor says it may not last so Im having an ablation next week in hops to make it more permante.

Hope all is well with you. I've been able to reschedule my right hemicolectomy procedure to October 18th and this time I hope to follow through and just get it over with....I can't believe I got so scared a month ago by researching the procedure online that I made myself sick the day before surgery and had to postpone it as a result last month.

@@michaezell4607 Research shows that everyone experience is different meaning results. Some it helped and for others they had to get 2 and 3. I’m skeptical of it myself.

the reason u dont want to drink too much water is not your bladder, your lungs can fill up with fluid its called a pulmonary edema and its terrifying it feels like your drowning and i know coz its happened to me lol so i had fluid restrictions for like a week and on diuretics..

hi! how long was your recovery? im 10 days post op and wanna do chores and stuff but im so nervous about getting back to normal ! glad youre doing well!!!!

hey! im glad youre doing okay. my recovery was 3 weeks. i took it easy but i still did some minor chores. i didnt lift anything heavy though or drive. but i did laundry dishes and swept/mopped. hope your recovery is well! and youre back to it! good luck!

Sounds like you have been through a lot what with the colostomy surgery and now this latest procedure. Hopefully this will be the last surgery you'll have to endure for a while if at all in the future.

At 1:40min in the video, (when you say you arrived at the hospital), are you sure your heart literally stopped and they had to restart it?

yes I'm sure, doctor let me know right after it happened. he said if I do that again, he'd have to use the shock paddles on me even if I was awake. luckily it stopped the second time.
