All talk and more talk all federal roads are getting worse not improving.Look at lokoja to Abuja highway,Nigeria capital city is a national disgrace.Lagos to benin,a national disgrace.Benin to Asaba,a national disgrace.The road leading to benin republic from Ogun state,a national disgrace.lbadan to illorin,a national disgrace etc.Federal government should handover these roads to state government for maintenance...Instead of holding on to them for the sake of budget padding.Nigerians are suffering untold hardship on federal roads across the country.l watched a lady on youtube traveling from lagos to ilorin,a journey of 4 hours took them more than 12 hours to get to ilorin.That shouldn't be happening in this day and age.Thank you.

Are you not following the news, most of the old road were been award to contractors before BAT, there is a serious issues on it, the minister always state their position on it that the contractor are ready to work, If you can recall there was a time he told the locals to beat the contractor's up because they insisted on going back to the old design, and he said the old design will not even last for four years. some of the the roads are awarded 16yrs ago and yet those bastard contractors could not complete it. Let us give it to him, he is doing his best.

I Concur Wholeheartedly!!!! Federal roads at this time ( and since thy kingdom come) have been an apology! All our governments since independence seem to be tiptoeing ( where we should be sprinting in full speed like Usain Bolt) where roads constructions are concerned!! Any bugger can tell us that Nigeria needs 100percent full attention on roads and rails crisscrossing the entire federation! In my mind, there ought to be 6 ministers of works, with one in each geopolitical zone liaising with the state commissioners for works and transport in those areas. The transfer of people, goods and services across the federation is a major must!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
