I reserved mine on April 8, 2024. After waiting for 9 months, I had to cancel the purchase because my dealer told me it wouldn’t arrive until the end of 2025! 😭 On December 23, I eased the pain by reserving the new 2025 S 1000 RR. God takes away a supersport and gives you a superbike 🤣.

I am facing a choice between the CBR 600 RR and the Street Triple 765 RS. Slightly different motorcycles, but both suit me very well. The Honda makes up for the price, while the Triumph makes up for the overall characteristics of the motorcycle.

I own a 2022 street and it is a great motorbike, I also ordered a cbr 600rr just for track riding. The Triumph is exceptional but doesn't have the position I want so I bought what I require.
@Maxreadys14 күн бұрын
@@warden1290 I considered the Street Triple but it’s not a looker for me especially the front headlights. I am sure it’s a great bike, test ride them both. I test rode the KTM 990 Duke and it was fantastic on B roads (UK) but that was it. Felt clunky and unrefined compared to the CBR. To me the only really good looking bikes are sports bikes but they are usually compromised on the road except for the CBR for me. I’m 62, keep fit and have no problems doing 250 miles a day. Yes I ache a bit in places but I also did on my 1250 RS, S1000RR, KTM Super Adventure etc.

Had this bike last season,did 7500km in 4 months. Sold it and ordered rrr fireblade. Really loved this bike, good handler, smooth, eye catcher (not black one tho, sorry 😂), and plenty fast. Reason I sold it, I wanted more power and torque at wider rpm range. Don't get me wrong, it's fast, but I really like driving fast, and I often max out it at 270km/h (on the dash). You mentioned power wakes up at around 9k rpm, i would say it's still quite flat at 9, it wakens up exactly at 11k rpm

I also live in Belgium and was looking into buying the new 600rr. Thanks to you maybe I will, the only thing is I’ll be riding accross europe and don’t want a naked nor a touring bike. What would you do? Dank u wel!

My dad did 15 years of touring across Europe on a gen 1 GSXR1000. Safe to say it's no problem. Prettige zondag man!

I really liked your 4000 mile update and great to see you are still in love with the bike. Mine is tucked up in the garage as I’m not as committed as you in the weather we have in the UK. I can’t wait to get out on mine again after seeing this and I agree with everything you said, very honest and all the things you mention are why I really rate this bike. How are the tyres getting on , I take it you are still on the original Dunlop Roadsport 2’s ? What settings do you ride mostly in and have you noticed much difference in them. I’ve only done 1500 miles and still experimenting with them to some degree. I use my own settings rather than the factory presets but I’d be interested in what you think. Keep the reviews coming and happy new year to you. Michael.

@@Maxreadys Hey Michael! Thanks for the comment, love to read it!! The tyres are okay actually, I expected worse in this weather! But ofcourse there are way better tires out there as well for the wet conditions. Right now I usually ride on my own custom setting 1113 in dry conditions, and 2521 in wet conditions! Happy 2025! 🎉

@@TheBrokenBMW I get what you are saying my friend although none of us know what view the mirrors give besides the rider and mirrors never substitute a life saving shoulder check which many bikers don’t do as they rely on their mirrors too much - but this is going a bit off track as I’m being protective of anyone who does an honest review in such a polite manner. 😬
