NIkki, this made me shed a tear as I feel your pain. Sometimes things need to be discussed for our own sanity, putting things into perspective and allowing the beginnings of the grieving process. Your acceptance is half the battle. It will be rough, but you have a lot of support and love. Please keep an eye on your own health, as your family still needs you. Hospice is in charge..no worries. They will make your mom comfortable and they are there for you also. After my daughter died, they called me several times to make sure I was ok..hugs and prayers..❤

You are allowed to have these feelings. The hospice is a much nicer place to stay than nursing home. You don't need Xtra shite at this time. My mother went into hospice with her cancer. You can never be prepared to lose a parent. So spend as much time with her as you can. I'm so happy I got to spend quality time with my mother before she passed. Thoughts with you. 🤗

Nikki, I am so Sad and Sorry to hear this. You have and are doing everything possible for your Mom. Once they go to a nursing facility they lose their independence some take it in stride others just want it all to end. They feel like a burden. Your Mom sounds like she has made peace with her situation and she wants to go be with your Dad and other family members. As much as you and your siblings would like to be able to prolong that. And I am not suggesting you are. It is what your Mom wants in the end that matters. She is ready to go and my heart breaks for you. To have to deal with this personally and have to make these decisions being the sibling in charge. I Pray for your Mom in her final stages, I Pray for you and your families. It's A LOT🙏 sending a HUGE HUG for comfort to get you thru these next few horrible weeks💔🙏

I lost my Father on Dec 14 about 20 years ago and my mother passed Dec 29 three years ago at this time of the year is hard. But my mom was 92 years and lived a good life and she was wanting to go. I’m so sorry you are going thru this. Keep the faith and they have their Drs that will handle her care. Prayers for you and family
