I don't believe in monogamy only, but polygyny in today's world can turn into a sh** show for sure. It is one thing to believe polygyny is an option, and not a sin, and whole different thing to put it in practice, esp with a woman raised in a monogamist culture

One can make the same argument for getting married at all, even those raised in "monogamous" culture are so far removed from biblical culture, that even having 1 wife is a massive headache for most men, if they are not setting the biblical standard upfront, enforcing it, and not budging on the expectations. The same goes for a man today trying to cover more than one woman, if he doesn't have and hold that frame, yeah, it will be a disaster most likely.

Isaiah 4:1 - In that day seven women will take hold of one man and say, “We will eat our own food and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by your name.

In Isaiah 4:1 we read: “And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach.” When you start reading in Isaiah 4, that verse is hard to understand. But it actually is the continuation of chapter 3. God’s judgment on Israel In chapter 3 Isaiah prophesies about God’s judgment on Israel. His judgment will be so severe, that most of the men will die in war. There will a shortage of men to marry. The women of Jerusalem, who were so haughty (Isaiah 3:16) will be humbled and humiliated to the point that several of them will pursue the same man to marry them. They are not even asking the man to take care of them, but only that he takes away their ‘reproach’. The reproach, the thing to be ashamed of, is being a single woman and especially being a woman without children. The picture that Isaiah is painting here is of a land where most men have lost their lives and where most women have lost their honor. This is all a consequence of God’s judgment on Israel’s idolatry (Isaiah 2:6-8). God is always gracious Yet this is not the end of the story. God is always gracious. Immediately after the prophecy of judgment Isaiah paints a different picture: “In that day, the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious” (Isaiah 4:2). This points towards the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ. However bad we have sinned, God is always ready to wash away the filth of our sins and give us new life through Jesus Christ. But if we remain haughty and think we do not need God, in the end His judgment will come over our lives, and we will be destroyed like Jerusalem was.

I also read for a female to be barren was to be ashamed so they needed a legal way to make a baby but never does the Bible mention it's the ideal situation. Furthermore with the prophecy of Isiah? I bet EVERY woman hope they had in their womb the baby Jesus. But the God of ultimate plot twists choose a woman not even playing in the heavenly lottery- and he choose a virgin to enter the world not a polygamous couple- a woman who bore a child out of wedlock. Who could have ended up a single mother if Joseph wouldn't have listened to the angel. #Ironic.

@@TransVirgin118 Isaiah 4 is still yet future prophecy, this hasn't already happened, and if you understand as a Christian what you are grafted into, you'll realize who the "daughters of Zion" includes.

Isaiah 4:1 is referencing our current religious state. Jesus is the man, and the women want to use his name but eat their own bread, and wear their own clothing. This is not a representation of good women, but rather people that want to use the name of Jesus in name only. For the record I am a believer in polygyny.

Nope. You mean the same Paul who said all things are legal but not beneficial? Paul and Jesus ministry was not about polygyny or even marriage for that matter. What’s concerning about the pro poly crowd is how their whole entire ministry is based upon having multiple wives. Most Christian’s can’t even handle one. And to that point, if you want to be in a poly marriage as a man, then you must be the covering for those wives. How on Earth are you equipped to deal with multiple wives when you haven’t developed the character to even hve one? The whole thing is an absolute joke and is doing a huge disservice to the body of Christ. Btw, I believe polygyny is NOT a sin. I just believe most the advocates of it have a horrible misconception of what it actually entails, and thus, are ill informed, thereby leading so many into confusion.

Rob is very misguided and driven by emotions, not the word of Elohim. Just watch some of his videos. He regularly sways from one extreme to the complete opposite. Recently using Andre Tate to argue in defense of Polygyny. The same Tate who HE HIMSELF admitted to trafficking women and scamming men online . Then there’s the whole “ I’m an alpha blah blah blah” nonsense. It is laughable. I have spent my entire adult life in the military/ law enforcement etc.. been around real alphas. Special ops guys who have seen some real stuff. Never once heard them with this “I’m an alpha” no sense. On the contrary, they were some of the quietest meekest people I’ve met… what a crock of crap. I’m an alpha so I deserve all these women. Give me a break….always the little dogs barking the loudest, ci Stanton having to tel everyone how alpha they are. You guys have a horrible misunderstanding of Yah and what it means to follow Yeshua,and you will have to answer for leading so many astray.
