I'm happy to see you're home and somewhat "de-stressed". Glad your son is improving and that there will be an answer soon. As an RN , I'm impressed with the knowledge and understanding you've gained in such a short, distressing time! Most people following trauma retain about 25% of what they hear, but there you are rocking the terminology ! I've worked in Pediatric trauma/ICU for 15 years. Inexplicable, miraculous events happen all the time. I'm hoping the MRI is clear and your son gets to return to the life and career he wants! I so believe in miracles, because I m one. Fighting breast cancer for 5yrs 9th Chemo. I told the doctor I believe that was a miracle and he said yes because I was still here. My best friend's husband was diagnosed with MS, 17 years ago at age 27. He's been on medication since his diagnosis and is doing wonderful. Works full-time and moonlights as a stand up comic and podcaster. Medical advances with MS have been amazing! Love and prayers to you and your family.

Happy to hear your Son is back on base and healing. It will just take time. I know, from my own personal experience, there is a definite mind body connection. I took responsibility in my battle with breast cancer and although was only given a 10% chance, I decided my body was going to respond to all the good things I was doing and heal. 24 years later, I'm still here (much to the amazement of my Oncologist). My Neurologist tested me completely and wanted to diagnose me with MS, but we decided not to and even though I've had some slight recurring symptoms, they don't last long and life goes on just fine. I believe we are all each others angels. We learn from one another, lift each other up, and provide support. I know your Son is happy to be back on base. My Son is also in the Air Force so I know your boy will be getting tons of support from his Military extended family. Take care of yourself - it's important - so you can be there for your family!

You've got the prayers, Taz! I understand a bit about what you're going through, my husband and I have had a difficult year. He's had three surgeries in the last six months, one major, two minor.
