Airplanes are flying over the island all day long and into the nite. One day planes are going to crash into populated neighbors. Who in blazes gave these planes the right to fly over the island? There is a big ocean to fly over like they did before....

Where they not flying from and within the islands? They seem like Hawaiian natives and the report seems like they were saying the one guy was training to fly. If they live on and are already on the islands they got to take off from somewhere.

@@amyhartman6786seems like some don’t understand that your not able to take off & land these aircraft from the ocean like the drones in Jersey have been. Yes, there are aircraft fitted with pontoons that will allow the plane to take off & land on water, but it must be fresh water, not salt water. The salt from the ocean will corrode wiring, airframe, engine components, etc and will end up causing planes to crash at much higher rates than they do now which is very infrequent currently. Flying is as safe as it can be and is the safest form of transportation that we currently have and unfortunately planes must fly over inhabited & developed areas of the island to get to airports, pick up passengers & cargo, refuel, etc. Pilots today are the best they’ve ever been and do not want to EVER crash but if something occurs and there is no way of avoiding a crash, these pilots today will spend the last 1-2 minutes of their life doing everything humanly possible to avoid coming down in a densely populated area where innocent people will potentially be injured or killed. There will always be some danger but pilots today train on how to minimize or prevent any possible injuries on the ground. If you want to prevent air travel over any populated areas of the islands, then we may as well do away with automotive travel on the ground which has an extremely high accident rate daily and is responsible for countless unneeded deaths and disabilities from folks simply not following rules of the road or careless actions thru speeding, drunk driving, etc.

small planes are dumb…. just take your time and take a big plane with pilots that have heavy duty back up systems…. These small planes are 50/50…. Big planes are 100% safe…. God Bless these kids… so sad 😞

They are crashing a lot lately. I don't trust em either. Especially someone with a new license with all these drones in there no way.
