Philippines allow dual citizenship. A 13a visa is permanent residence with you only $10.00 a year instead of $ 30.00 a month on visa fee. PR is not a citizen ship.

Why didn't you do the 13A paperwork while you were here in the US? If you would have it's a permanent visa from the start, no probationary period. I did mine while we were living in Phoenix before we left to Cebu.

I think for kids they allow dual citizenship in the PH. They can go to US as Americans and they can come back to PH as Filipino.
