(UPDATE) on our last video (Over Fed Baby Birds)

Update on the babys that the parents over-fed. We pulled them from the parents and started the hand feeding ourselves.

So happy to see the babies pulled through. You have beautiful birds and care for them so lovingly I wish you shipped birds to New Jersey. I have 2 Latino baby girls and I have 4 more babies coming the end of July. (2 grays and 2 cinnamon). I am going to breed them so I was hoping you could do a DIY on your nest boxes. They look to be a good size and I would love to see how you make them and set up the breeding cages. Thank you so very much for sharing your years of knowledge with us.

I love your videos! You have helped me with my 'tiels so much. I was a labor and delivery nurse for over twenty years and my mom used to tease me about everything having to be pregnant around me. I have loved birds for a very long time and recently wanted to have a breeding pair of 'tiels. Even at 61 years of age, I still love the miracle of birth and life. ****My question is do you sell your birds and if you do what are you breeding currently?

We own a large aviary of cockatiels. We have been breeding birds for over 30 years. We have finally slowed down to just cockatiels. We have an agreement with a local bird store that we absolutely trust, so all of our babys go to them. Kevin

What did you do you to work the food out of their crop?

Im having the same problem just happened letting them sit overnight with no food, in the morning do I feed them watery formula with probiotics or do I wait till they fully empty to feed them and just do warm water and crop massage till they get everything down. Please let me know I’m struggling.

How do you help them gain weight? My birds are underweight as well and I don’t know how to help them gain.

I have two babies one has already came out of the nestbox one is I think is ready to come out of nestbox but fails to come out I keep checking crops and there is nothing in them so I have been feeding them one a day
