Update on our rescued Kuxie, from a bird cage she was held hostage!

You all remember we have rescued them from a rusted bird cage, where she was held in terrible condition, alongside Zeze and Zizi back in 2020. She was victim of the #illegalwildlifetrade and we have confiscated them under our Angolan Mission Caita, community led conservation and anti trafficking program. They were one of the first batch we have apprehended and rescued from life long abuse.
She is living freely in our base camp sanctuary in the rainforest, with our 2 lady caregivers. She is out all day, yet she doesn’t venture in the forest. She likes her freedom and her time with our staff. Don’t you love to see happy ending stories?
