Looking good! Slow and steady wins the race! Also prefer the relaxed, happy horse. Safety first! No rush, you are both young!

Prehab sounds like it's going well. I have something similar planned for my horse. I'm calling it a strengthening program. You look more relaxed. It takes time. More haste, less speed. The journey is the best bit. The destination is just where you are going.

I’m with you! Much wiser and more long lasting results to go slow and do each stage thoroughly. Not being afraid at times when dealing with a thousand pound animal is frankly, stupid. Fear is our mind telling us to exercise caution which is a good thing! I am working with an eleven month old horse and when I do her feet I put on a helmet. Not because she kicks, but she’s a baby and it’s too late after the fact, if she should decide to! I think you’re doing very well! ❤️

How old were you when you bought your first horse?
@everydayeventers85809 ай бұрын
I had a pony when I was a young 14-15 year old. but just a happy hacker. I then had chez when I was in my thirties but she has never been a ridden pony. So when I bought reg and starting riding properly and competing I was 41. Xxx
