In 2010, Dr. Milewicz and her team discovered the cause of Smooth Muscle Dysfunction Syndrome. Her laboratory has published extensively on SMDS and has operated a registry for patients with the condition since 2015. This webinar covers recent developments from laboratory studies on SMDS and also includes discussions about an ongoing clinical trial aimed at exploring new therapeutic approaches for SMDS.
