in height did you take in consideration the bags height when measuring both plant hts many variations of hydro try buckets draining into a collection center and then back again to plants saving of water is incredible you can use plain old 3/8 to 3/4 rock [make sure it has no limestone in it] buckets will last for years

this is the person who didn't show up to chemistry class and dosen't realize everything is a chemical
@DmDm-fg2cs3 жыл бұрын
@@ThahnG413 yeah, and not all nitrogen is derived from the same source lol are you for real? Like all chemicals are equal? You dont need to use ammonium nitrate when you can use compost, thinking everything is the same just because "everything is a chemical" is ridiculous.
@ThahnG4133 жыл бұрын
@@DmDm-fg2cs If I were to grow in water, compost would not be a good option for example, because I would want immediately plant available nutrients, also this is kind of on the side, but im pretty sure the standard is calcium nitrate not ammonium nitrate since calcium nitrate provides the necessary calcium. You are not wrong in saying not all chemicals are equal, however I would argue that much of the chemicals you eat from the plant would be converted to similar chemicals of what you would get from what you would consider a normal plant, while I do admit that I do grow organically, I also grow inorganically because both produce good results, and frankly I think inorganic is a great option for beginner gardeners as the high nutrient content keeps their plant going if they say forget to fertilize not to mention that the price of organic to inorganic fertilizers is growing in gap as organic grows to unreasonable prices

Hello I want to plant bell pepper on hydroponic too . Can you teach me or not
@sean8081a5 жыл бұрын
What about taste, the hydroponics are bigger but are they watery or watered down taste.
@cravo28115 жыл бұрын
Fruits grown in a retractable roof house are larger, firmer with a higher brix than a conventional greenhouse. Watery fruits are caused by low transpiration rates which occur in conventional greenhouses. Simply retracting the roof when outside conditions are ideal increases the rate of water loss helping to increase fruit firmness

Hate to be the party pooper here but you can hardly call that hydroponics. Maybe it’s being fed hydroponic nutrients but it is grown in soil. By default that’s not hydroponics.
@caseG805 жыл бұрын
Polly Monopoly i think these guys know what they have going on, how is it not hydroponic? Maybe watch it again he says they are using coco in the bags which is soil less meaning hydroponic. Cheers
@michaelallen72752 жыл бұрын
Actually, the "original" hydroponic was done in soil. You can grow hydroponic in soil. the original hydroponic is what we today call a "grow box" using water below the soil with an air space between and having the roots go down to the reservoir to pick up nutrients with a draw system. That being said, I would have to disagree with you historically, and also, he did say he was using coco peat so that would also go against what you say if that is your argument.

Considering Carlos is speaking a foreign language in his own country, I think he’s doing great. How’s your Spanish? It must be good because your written English is terrible.
