The mama said the Aviation company her brother worked with paid his settlement into that account. So, if access said there is no money in the account at all, can the mama and her lawyer go to the aviation company and request for them to show evidence of payment into the account, then, u can crosscheck it with the statement, then u can take it from there. And if access wants to claim d money has been withdrawn, den it should reflect in the statement. I believe dis will help.

VDM ,auditors can only assist when you are referencing transfers from one account to the account in question.If this is the route you chose ,please obtain all bank statements relating to the man and check for transfers. Of course ,this test is likely to fail because according to mama,the alleged money in that account were sent from the deceased place of work into that account. The best approach or reference will be to go back to his work place to verify the account his funds were paid into and the period ,if this was done at all.Na naija we de. This will form a basis for revisiting CBN and or access bank for a reconfirmation. You are on track but implement these quick steps. Thank you.

VDM I'll suggest you should get Bank statement of all the his account from other Bank as well as the other Access Diamond bank she got the 2.9M. First, check inter-Bank transfer ie. Where money comes into the Account from other Bank Accounts. Secondly, check other soft contact ie. People who make frequent transaction with the deceased and Thirdly, write to NDIC to please confirm the bank statement which they made available to you Guys. I wish I will be there to assist with the analysis, that's what I do best

Is CBN and NDIC not the regulatory bodies? This is their work. It is not only to give us stress over BVN, cash handling charges and asking the banks to debit customer 50 naira for transfer that they will remember to regulate. They should have sent auditors to the bank since.

Tell Mama to contact that company to give her a copy of the money transaction between the company and the late brother. If the company can produce that transaction copy trust me Access Bank will give up the game they are trying to play.

The true about the past statement of account is in mama late brothers email address. They need to look for his bank account email address, request to change password. If they still have his phone number registered with the email for 2fa code, they can do that with any of his previous phone numbers. Just incase other banks can provide the email addresses linked with the account of the previous money paid to mama, if mama don't know the email address and that is the solution to the access real statement of account.

Kindly get the deceased' phone number and independently reach out to the network providers with a court order to help provide info on his transaction 2. GTB, and d other banks he had, should provide a comprehensive statement of account let's verify whether a deposit was ever made into d acc in question I honestly have a gut feeling that this access bank is onto something fishy... unfortunately, I think they've successfully deleted d crime scene and they'll most definitely getaway with d crime of siphoning the deceased money
