I found your site just before Christmas 2013. I have watched all of your stuff and have enjoyed all of it. Thanks for all the great content. I find I'm waiting for your latest updates like I wait for my favorite authors new books. Thank you.

If FriscoBoater's wife is reading this, keep on him!! There are many of us who wants UPDATES! But seriously, I sure understand how life and other priorities get in the way all too often. Working on the actually usable boat is always best.

I think I have more fun in the rebuild of projects than actually using the item. I'm presently using my fourth project boat that I resurrected after it sat in the desert for over 12 years! Keep up the good work!

Wow....$180.00 bucks for a new bottom pan? With your skills you could have made one for far less than that...perhaps even out of stainless steel!!!!!

+DuffyF56 Maybe so... but it was easy just to buy one.

Who did your repairs on the Gen? I am buying a 1995 3570 and have about 600 hours on the Kohler as well.

You bet. Always ran perfect, just leaked like a screen door

Careful with the hot glue. The heat from the engine may cause it to ooze loose.
@FriscoBoatersGarage10 жыл бұрын
Good thought, but it does not get to 300 degrees. That is high temp glue that I used.

You really stay on your fixes.

For real? Hot glue inside a generator housing that will be pretty hot? Is that a good idea?

thats one of the "alldress" engine from Honda.The same engine in my generator EV6010 and the lawntractor.they are some differences on the rpm controler and the end of their crankshaft.I took 2 engines here,one from the lawntractor and one EV6010 and rebuilt the tractor with all i can saved and it runs great,,,and i need a used ignition coil as spair.The ignition coil is the weak point of this engine,if i may suggest keep one in your tablett. Ride safe Gef

so in the beginning of the video you said you were too incompetent to work on the generator yourself, but by the end you say the only way you know it will be done right is to do it your self...what gives
