Your not alone with burnout I haven’t touched my Tonner rebuild in a year, like you I got a bit side tracked and lost my mojo. Back into it soon as I’m selling a lot of the crap I no longer need which will give me more room in the shed. 👍

Good to have you back, we appreciate the videos. I think a lot of us here know that feeling by the look of it. I have 4 restorations going at once and just hit that feeling where I can't stand to look at them. Look forward to the new videos whenever they come out

trust me mate. I'm at the end of my build as well. all the hours and hard work I've put in. im struggling to find motivation to finish mine. and I have issues with heaps of shit. drivers side arm rest screws stripped , drivers side wiper arm pivot won't grab the wiper arm ,brand new engine sump gasket leaking oil ,front harmonic balancer seal leaking oil. carby floods on startup. im like you I had to walk away from it for a few weeks. hopefully I get the urge to sort these issues.

No worries mate. I am about to start tearing down my HQ 1 tonner for a repaint after 23 years of driving after its first restoration and moderate customisations. Separating the cabin from the frame over the Xmas break and going to the paint shop at the beginning of the new year. My son being 33 is looking forward to being fully involved this time and it is good since he will be the next custodian after I die. Looking forward to the future videos and even the fiddly bits are interesting to us car nuts so show it all. Great to see you back and think of it this way, at least the paint has fully cured and hardened, less likely to scratch back to bare metal.

Good to see your back in the shed, don't feel you need to deliver regular content, I never committed to uploading regularly, it's no problem. I'm planning on transitioning from the shed to filming track racing with Rogue, so maybe you could do the same, would help you meet some good like minded people. I would like to see your Ute hit the track or just some car shows. Cheers mate.
