They prolly purchased either extremely potent heroin. Or it was laced. If they were injecting it. The risk is 5 times greater of overdose vs snorting it. You'll be unconscious within 45 to 90 seconds after that needle leaves your arm. If they were all injecting. They probably all fell out at the same time. I've personally became unconscious with it still in my arm before. Fall to the floor. 30 seconds. Wake up an hour and 15 minutes later. I've lost several friends of overdoses. 2 years ago I saved a girls life at a party. She was only 20 years old. I wasn't doing the stuff anymore but luckily I knew. I used a narcan kit on her which was completely defective. It simply would not spray into her nose. I went into full blown panic. Shes a noodle on the floor. Faint to almost non existent pulse. Erratic heart beat. Speeds up super fast. Beating so hard. Then immediately stops. Never seen anything like it in my life. An I remind you I was sober. Recovered. Ive never seen someones face so purple and blue. Her lips. I'll never forget it. She was completely dead for almost 2 minutes. I called 911 being everyone else was to afraid to. The dispatcher walked me through performing chest compressions an CPR. I actually resuscitated her. All because heroin and fentanyl cuts the oxygen to your brain. It slows your breathing. You go unconscious. Even if you do survive and wake. There is a high chance you'll be brain dead if your breathing stops or slows to much. They will gurgle and snore. But you cant wake them. They call it the death rattle. That's when you call for help. Do not wait. Every second counts. Literally.

Yes. It is so powerful that a very tiny amount breathed in or absorbed in a cut, can kill. More than 100 times powerful than heroin. Also, street fentanyl is not predictable in strength. Car-fentanyl is even stronger -- it's analogous to fentanyl but packs an even bigger punch. Think of an instant. It kills faster than that.

As a former EMT, I can tell you it's most likely stressful for this cop because an infant was involved. It's one of the hardest things to see when somebody who shouldn't have children abuses them or puts them in harms way, either intentionally or through neglect. They never had a chance and are victims of circumstance and a society that stops caring about people.

Maybe a bad batch of drugs. Unfortunately fentanyl is rampant right now. They think they're getting something else and it ends up being Fentanyl. One survivor could always lead to foul play of some sort. Its a bit strange that all 5 wouldve done the same drugs after whatever would've happened with 1, 2, 3 and 4. We'll see how this investigation plays out. What a tragedy. Thank the lord it's sounds like the baby is alright. Lot of families mourning right now. Just sad. 😔

Its unfortunate most in the comments dont understand this connection or else they would have sympathy and compassion!! Most of all addicts have experienced great trauma and most of all addicts who were introduced by pain med were legally getting them and using them to treat pain from surgery, accidents etc and then became addicted without warning or knowledge of it happening which turned them into addicts. The survivor has now suffered even more trauma, guilt, heartache, depression which will compound her need to self medicate or self harm even more as a means to cope!! I pray she gets therapy, a great support system, be surrounded by those that can help her soul and heart to heal instead of just her physical. That the blood of jesus engulfs her with his forgiveness, healing, deliverance, peace, comfort and blessings so she can get through every tragedy and trauma that led her here and help others in jesus christ holy name!!

That child that you say is the only one you care about since the rest were on drugs just experienced the worst tragedy/trauma of its life that it hasn't even come of age to begin to understand but will grow up with the heartbreak of not having either parent and lets not get into whatever other trauma they will experience through foster homes, adoption, possible abuse, abandonment, neglect and just life issues etc and this baby may very well seek drugs to cope from the pain!! I pray this child doesn't fall victim to it even with it being a generational curse on both bloodlines which makes it even more likely being compounded with this tragedy so you should check yourself cause you can't possibly care about this child to say that callous ignorant judgmental bullshit out your mouth knowing at 4 months old this child will never know it's parents, remember it's parents, feel loved by its parents and is left alone in this cold world!!!
