My family moved to Colorado in 1969…I seen so much beautiful growth back then. Denver was beautiful, safe, and clean. I raised my kids in South Aurora in the 90s, we lived in neighborhoods where we would literally leave our doors unlocked some nights. I loved Colorado!!! I recently moved to rural Maryland to be with my grandkids. It’s beautiful out here, clean, no gangs, lots of trees and roomy. The neighbors are civil, clean and mind their own business. My daughter raises chicken and we get to collect lots of eggs every morning, from her free range chickens. I can run down the block and not be scared any longer. I am so grateful not to be there anymore.
